Only two handed dpsmelee weapon coming out of the troll dungeons. ~~Reforged Trollbane is more of a DK tanking weapon, although not horrible by any stretch.~~ Blizz is switching stats on me. Curse you!

Currently, the Reforged Trollbane has Hit and Mastery, which is nice for anyone who isn't at the hit cap and doesn't want to gem for it. If you are at the hit cap already, this is a much better choice, as it has crit and mastery.

This is nice for those who couldn't get a weapon drop in a raid or if Zin'rokh, Destroyer of Worlds won't appear as an archaeology rare.

The huge chunk of mastery is great for Blood DKs; it also shines a lot, which is a really nice aesthetic effect.

If you are going into a ZA/ZG and still don't have the hit needed then I think you don't want them in your group.
But, it was nice for blizzard to switch the stats, the axe is pretty much a joke to try to get when compared to getting this mace.

Yep, this weapon is definitely more accessible than the Reforged Trollbane. I have already met at least 6 of them while i still have only one Trollbane.

I've done Zul'Gurub about 8 times and only yesterday it dropped first time. I was so happy for about few seconds before pala tank took it and left asap. :(

Valiana i know exactly how you feel about ninja pro's. It is an issue that is hard to control by Blizzard obviously for reasons they haven't figured out yet. It does piss me off to no avail as these ninja pro's need on item's out of their spec. It happens all the time to me.....I am using a 346 weapon I made for my pally dps and had that mace drop 4 times in 10 runs, lost each time. The aggravating part was the tank needed three times and 1 time was a pally healz.... :( some day Blizz will get this figured out.

I queue as DPS on my warrior. I'll offspec roll on a piece of tank gear, if the tank has no need for it. Never would I roll against him if he needed it. I'm tired of Healers and Tanks rolling on my DPS gear too, but you don't see me needed against them out of spite. All you're doing is contributing to the problem and becoming a "selfish a-hole" yourself.

I got called a ninja and such when i needed on a Healing shield in a Heroic a while back. As a paladin i play all 3 Specs (main spec - ret). Personally i collect both sets of gear providing no-one else needs them. In this case there were no other classes in the party that could equip it even. Thing with an OS is you can only talent 1 at a time - currently tank - not talented since lvl 80.

Yup totally dude - i rolled a human pally in 2005 specifically to be able to need roll on everything.

While i do sympathize with people nicking gear, as someone that always has to "think about" which button i push and how its going to come off to the group, i think i did the right thing, let the QQ begin if i did not.

Easily the best pre-raid 2h for arms (and probably fury as well) warriors. Incredibly itemized if you are hit/exp capped.

My personal view is that if I queue as dps, I will only need on healer / tank gear if they don't need it. I was in the queue for 30 min, last thing I want to do is get kicked as a ninja.

When queued as healer or tank on the other hand, my thinking is that I am getting near instant queues, so why piss people off needing on dps gear unless no one else needs it. However, if my shaman ever sees the MH fist weapon from the Archeology boss or some other extremely rare drop...I will need regardless of role.

Replaced my foe reaper. Got it on 5th Zul Run ever.
So happy. Already noticing a big difference tho hit cap was a little hard to achieve/reforge just right. But at 8.28% hit and exp at 27, I'm really smashing things now. Looking forward to the Masterwork Elementium Spellblade replacing it soon, tho.

With the new 2-handed sword Masterwork Elementium Deathblade (item level 365) now craftable via the Molten Front, ninja stories about Jeklik's Smasher and horror stories about Zin'Rokh, Destroyer of *Lives* should now be pretty much a thing of the past. Thank you Blizzard!

Somehow I managed to get his on my second ZG run, and 11 times in I haven't gotten the epic plate dps shoulders from the end boss of ZA. Usually this drop order works in reverse (Bats an eyelash at the 32 runs for Edge of Ruin).

It does shine for Blood spec. I had been using the Blade of the Fearless from Told Barad, and this was a nice upgrade from it. The mastery stat on it is a big help for tanking.

Regarding the complaints about dps rolling for tank/healing gear or tanks/healers rolling for dps gear.

In my opinion if you go into a random group it is a free for all according to the rules as stated by Blizzards software.

Your heroically geared tank/healer may be gearing up to act as dps in guild raids, all the while helping out the problem of having too few people doing these rules. Give them the opportunity do gear up as a thank you.

Anyone willing to wait half an hour as dps to get a shot at tanking/healing gear is worth a fair chance at getting it, even over the person that have better gear right now and so it running as tank/healer.

You want first dibs on things, go with people you know who will let you have it. Worst case, go gold dkp.

I don't even dislike (much) enchanters needing an item they can need just to DE it later. It sucks, but it is allowed and it is payment for their sevices when they DE any BoP items no one really wants into something more useful than 10-20 gold.

That said, i hate losing the loot rolls in all these cases, but that is not the fault of the player rolling against me.
