Cool item. But i killed many times to Akil'Zon. This boss didnt drop a shoulder yet. Anyone knows why is that so? Its bug or blizzard didnt add?

I saw these drop today while healing ZA on my resto druid, so I can confirm that the item is in game. Of course, i de'd since i had the better and prettier (imo) Passive Resistor Spaulders from Blackwing Descent. However, until you see the raid shoulders drop, these are a fantastic shoulder item for resto druids. Not sure about moonkin, but I'd think it totally reasonable if one rolled against me for these.

Confirming, these are perfectly itemised for moonkin, too. One of the few items where the got the "one item for all specs" thing right!

These are the best shoulders for pre-raiding (in case you didn't know that already), unless you've got about 20k to plunk down for Hide of Chromaggus.

For most resto druids plowing through heroics, these are a straight upgrade over the shoulders you're likely to have on: Dragonmaw/Wildhammer, Heroic Vortex Pinnacle or to a lesser extent Heroic Halls of Origination. Crit rating *vomit*

Now if I could just get the suckers to drop, we'll be in business.

Edit: It finally dropped, on my 18th kill, when I was running through the place on my mage. Druid healer's first ZA run (Comp. Achieve at the end.) -_-

Edit: No longer correct after the new 4.3 patch, but did you really have to rate me down?

Finally dropped today, after about a dozen ZA runs, and wouldn't you know it the bear tank ninja's them from me and then immediately drops group. I hate ninja's.

I've been keeping track of my Akil'zon kills, and I'm at a total of 49 so far...
I've YET to see this item drop once.
I'll post back how many kills before I see/get it.
