With its 301 str + red socket and mastery bonus, if you make this alchemist stone with a level 80 you are not going to change it until you are level 85 which is a good thing, especially since it gives 5 point in alchemy when you create it.
Please note that I make this comment to retribution paladin, but this also apply to any class/spec that stacks strength.

For what class? That's completely untrue for some class/specs. Example: retribution paladins, at the moment, it's been shown that strength, and then mastery is the best stat to itemize and reforge to. Critical strike rating comes in second, and haste is something you want to reforge AWAY from.

What is true for your class/spec may not be true for others.
