My guild has now aquired this, and its coming in very useful in raids. I'd say go get it! Much easier to aquire then the fishing one. That one will come with time.

Does anyone know if once you've learnt this recipe, can you still use it if you quit your guild or join a different guild therefore losing guild rep?

The descriptive line "in another useful stat" will increase your primary attribute of either Strength, Agility, or Intellect upon eating.
