By the time this gun is obtainable, players are likely to already have a weapon superior to it. It seems to serve mostly as a statstick for warriors that missed their chance to pick up something earlier. However, the rifle's model is fairly nice and it can be used as a RP weapon.

Have to say I really like the model of this gun but I've already have a better bow...So guess this will be used as a RP gun.

This weapon was just brought to my attention, it will be a great one for the up and coming Transmogrification system, and despite it's Str/Stam stats, i will see about getting it or any of the ones that share the same model for my hunter.

The elegance is in the simplicity. It's sleek and beautiful.

It also happens to be a matchlock carbine, which sadly inquires that reload times should be over 40+ seconds per firing sequence, in the hands of a decent marksman.

Go go ~3 second reload times, because we are just that awesome.

The quest that rewards this item () is available immediately at Chillwind Camp, without having to complete any prerequisites. Just fly to Chillwind and talk to the farmer a few steps north of the flight master.
