The best common/green relic for druid tanks before dungeon quests or drops. It has agility which gives the same attack power as strength but in addition gives dodge and crit (100 agility = 72 dodge rating = 55 crit rating).

Additional crit is also provided. Crit increases the chance to proc Savage Defense which as a mastery is a bit different from other tank specs because their masteries include the proc chance in the mastery stat - so they just need pure mastery (or mastery and stamina in the case of DK's) for damage reduction.

Finally, it gives raw mastery (Savage Defender) to polish off a nice damage reduction relic.

This relic seems a bit overbudget. Look at the blue equivalent only 10 item levels lower.

This item is likely a reference to the "Ways" of the Wheel of Time series. The object you use to explode the gate with even resembles a Portal Stone fairly closely, except for not being a technological marvel. Portal Stones dont have anything to do with the Ways, but that is not the point i am making here.
