This dropped from Mindbender Ghur'sha for my group in Throne of the Tides. We were all pretty not happy because this was a class specific item which we DE'd. I wasn't aware drops of this type (idols, librams, etc) would be dropping from bosses. Sigh.

Do you realize how many relics were in the game before Cataclysm? Probably 5-6 at most per class. Combining relics for Shamans, Paladins, and Druids and putting them on loot tables, give us a lot more options for relics slots and puts us on par with warriors, etc that basically gets a free stat slot to fill with one of the many guns, bows, etc.

Not everything that drops in an instance can be used by any class. That's just the way it is.

These are the relics I've had on my druid:

Blackrock Depths - Idol of Ferocity - level 47. Drop rate: Low (23%)
Mana Tombs - Idol of the Claw - Level 64. Drop rate: Low (15%)

At 83, I'm still sporting a relic from Outlands regs. The drop rates on relics means that even if you do grind the instance needed, there is a slim chance it will actually drop.

Anyone complaining that I might get to upgrade ever twenty or so levels is just being SELFISH.

Every other class has to wait a max of 7 levels before ranged items with stats show up. None of you have to wait fourty-seven levels before you even get a 15% chance to fill that empty slot.
