This is the container you receive after your first kill (of the day) of the Headless Horseman in the Scarlet Monastery Graveyard. It should contain one or a few (if you are lucky) of the following:

Sinister Squashling
Hallowed Helm
The Horseman's Reins (It really does exist!)
Flying Broom
Magic Broom
Tricky Treat

The rings drop off of his body.

Well, hallowed helm dropped with loot-filled pumpkin so it's probably going to be like brewfest. You have chance to obtain the rare items once a day and you have 2 weeks for that...

You are lucky indeed! It is also possible to get nothing out of the bag, like i just had. An on screen message will display: There is no loot.

Confirmed, mount can be found in this bag. I've seen someone in my group getting it.
I'm not sure if the drop chance was or wasn't increased, but I've seen someone on /trade saying he found 2 mounts in the same bag ( 2x The Horseman's Reins ).

The Pumpkin always contains something. However, the times the message "There is no loot" comes up, is because there's only Justice Points contained in it. Unlike the Emblems, those will automatically be added to your pile upon opening.

So, I've seen both comments from people, saying the blade and helm can drop from either body or goodiebag. Can it really drop from either place, or is it just the pumpkin bag? Also, which helm are people talking about? There's the plate version and the cloth version... which drops from which? Sorry, just slightly confused.. :)

After weekly maintenance the pumpkin has now also contained flimsy masks. Maybe to avoid the confusion of "no loot" in a loot-filled pumpkin?

Really...you expect us to believe that on the first day of Hallow's End you not only got 15 Loot-Filled Pumpkins - which are DAILY drops and can only be gotten once per day - but that you also managed to get all of the drops from 2009? the Horseman's Reigns is a ridiculously high drop rate as it would seem.

i've only been running this a few days (given today's date) on 4 characters, running each character each day it resets.

a 78 warrior picked it up the first day.
an 80 deathknight picked up one another day, and a spare later on.
an 80 warlock picked one up the day after the deathknight's and a spare later on.
an 80 mage main character... none yet :s

I got the sword 4 times now and it was always in the daily bag.
(why does it not show the contents of the container on wowhead?)

I did the event with 8 level 80 chars every day and got the Mount with 4 of them! :D
I hope all others get it before the event is over.

Is it possible to have more than one bag in your inventory? I kinda wanna horde them all until the last day then open the rest of them to see if I get lucky.

Feels like a better chance at the reins.

The mount drop chance must have been increased, every day I run this event somebody gets a mount. I got it on the 3rd day, helm on 5th, pet on 6th.

I think this event is exactly like brewfest, and the drop rates have been similarly increased.

Terrible year for me, I got the Reins on the first try this year but after that all I kept getting was the Hallowed Helm & The Sinister Squashling.

This may sound like a joke but if you have a bag with something you already have in such as the hallowed helm in it. Keep it! Every once in a while if you keep on opening it it will have something else in it! I've kept mine almost all week and I've gotten an extra plate helm and another mask!

4 runs, looted both the Helm and the awesome Saber, not much for the stats on the sword, but it really looks amazing!
The mount is pretty hardcore, and I figure the droprate is well below 1%, I figure in the area between 0.3-1%.

The helm is a "must have" giving you great stats and a awesome effect with the notorious laugh of the Headless Horseman, cracks me up every single time!

Don't bother peeking inside (without auto loot), as all the loot is bind on pickup.

Not that it matters anyway, as the pumpkin is BoP.

So feel free to open with pumpkin-smashing abandon.

Can confirm the mount drops from this bag (as well as the pet, the sword and the cloth hat)
Got all three in the same bag

Everyone gets one upon killing the boss so there is no need to summon 5 times.

Item seems to be bugged, or atleast not guaranteed to drop an item.
One of my characters i have opened 2 of them that dropped *nothing* at all
