What is not mentioned here or when looking at these Cataclysm gems in the Auction House is the fact these gems can only be placed in an item of iLevel 285 or above.

I purchased a few of these off the Auction House when I tried to place them in my Wrath gear got an error message. That's when I saw it had text on the Gem that says needs item of iLevel 285. I went back to the auction house and that line doesn't show up in the tooltip there.

The gem cuts Timeless Nightstone, Jagged Jasper, and Solid Zephyrite can no longer create perfect versions of the cut.

These should no longer be able to be created in game, due to a hotfix on the 14th December.

It's such a shame Blizzard removed the ability to cut Perfect Solid Zephyrites, just so that people wouldn't ever cut one while doing the JC daily quest, when they were actually worth something, unlike the perfect versions of the other cuts. = /
