Does this proc off of vampiric embrace heals? I am a priest with a shadow off spec and I have this ring.

Does the spell power proc share a cool down with anything? I have this ring and Totem of Calming Tides. Both have a chance to proc while I'm healing. I'm assuming that it would be too over powered to have both procs active at the same time. So it's probably unlikely that they can be.

As much as I have grown to love this ring on my Tree, I really wish the effect proced off casting in general, then it would be passable for Boomkin spec as well. :)

I realise the way i said it made it sound as if I wanted it to proc on every cast(not that such wouldn't be amazing), I ment more it should be ABLE to proc on casting in general, not just helpfull spells.
