For dropping from Thorim hardmode in 25 man, this shield is very disappointing. Considering how easy it is to obtain Voice of Reason, this shield should at least have more than a gain of 1 measly SP and int. The gain to haste is very nice to caster classes, but nothing like OMG soo much haste! overall, i would rather spend my dkp on the new tier sets.

As a JC Holy Paladin, I'd put a prismatic 27 intellect on this shield which closes the difference in crit rating (27 int = 0.19% crit, 6.3 heal) and you have tons more mana, extra 12 healing in exchange for a little haste.

A good upgrade over https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=40401 IMHO...

Its a big upgrade for my elemental shaman, but does this thing really have to look so butt-ugly? I would take this bad boy for the haste over my Voice of Reason any day, but man, I'm going to have to LOOK at that for a long time.

Have to throw casters a bone everyonce in awhile ! I will admit it does have an extraordinary amount of armor, but then again i personally haven't seen much in the dept. of plate drops, accessories, weapons...that are of particular upgrade/use to a holy paladin. 90% of the time a plate item does happen to drop it ends up having undesirable healing stats. again this is just from my personal experience. for those of us who didn't get voice of reason in the 20+ clears this is an excellent upgrade, even pulsing spellshield is worthwhile due to that typo. as for the socket just an added bonus to possibly have (+16 int gem) (30 int enchant) (48int stat)= whoping 94 int from piece

ps. did i mention we also get a legendary ! lawlz

This shield has the Highest armor of shields as of for now.
Good thing it goes to healers and not tanks. Armor is much better for healers then tanks.
Or did I get this wrong?
