Tooltip must be wrong as it reads 232.8 damage per second. I am assuming it will be around the 160 dps range as the rest of the Ulduar weapons are.

what if blizzard did their lazy streak, and made it actually a sun, rising..like the symbol...but with a blue tint...that be both lazy, and obvious to the reference lol.

i assume the dps shown is right. just because for hunters that try to use it they wont get the increased speed from their quivers so overall without the speed from the quivers it probably equals out to about 160 dps

I won this yesterday and was appalled that it doesn't actually spin while it flies through the air!

it's one thing to be so lazy that you keep using the same model...especially when you only see the model for two seconds as it flies through the air....but christ...if it looks like a shuriken you could at least animate it spinning for that two seconds.

Picked this up on Tuesday, and got a 4.9k Deadly Throw crit sometime after in world pvp. Holy hand grenades Batman!

Pre-Tier 9 content, this is the second best thrown weapon available for raiding rogues. Twirling Blades (from 10 man Flame Leviathan hard mode) are superior. Crimson Star (added in 3.2, 25 Emblems of Triumph) are comparable to the Twirling Blades.

PVE rogues will likely find the following ranged-slot weapons also available in Tier 8 content superior alternatives, pending their character's statweighting:
Magnetized Projectile Emitter
Skyforge Crossbow

There are many new ranged weapons in Tier 9 content, but no actual thrown weapons that I have seen (apart from Arena rewards).
