As a Holy Paladin I'm torn between this item and Ceaseless Pity. I would be putting either this or this gem in the socket. I think I'll just end up throwing a +20 Resil gem in the socket and using it as my PvP neck though.

For those who don't know the meaning of Torque

You get this item for getting the Key to the Focusing Iris from 10-man Sapphiron (only one person gets it), then beating Malygos in either a 10-man or 25-man raid.

This is the "healing" reward for the quest, as there is spell power but no hit rating on this item.

The itemization is not perfect for paladins, as it has MP/5. It isn't perfect for restoration druids or holy priests, as it has no spirit. It is perfect for discipline priests and restoration shamans.

Even if it is not perfect for you, with the high ilvl and the yellow socket, it is probably an upgrade over the Titanium Spellshock Necklace you're wearing right now.

Also, it's good for damage-dealer casters who are already hit-capped.
