For whatever reason, the model for these particular shoulders don't sit correctly on a Blood Elf (at least, a Blood Elf male), and look kinda lopsided.

These are the second best looking plate shoulders in the game to me (after warbringer), I am dissapointed that blizz only made 2 items with this model and used the https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=39267 model for end game raiding and https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=44195 for blue instances, although those are my 3rd favourite plate shoulder model. Most of the green shoulders are these models which are ok :( https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=36321

The sons of hodir have superior shoulders and once exalted, they can also provide the best shoulder enchants currently in the game (for non-scribes).

after scratching these numbers down, I have decided to try and farm rep with the Oracles and get me these. Leveling anyways + there is not that many level 79 twinks, most low levels, so give more crit so I get rid of them faster!

Might consider getting the savage one also though, for when I ding 80 and moving into higher brackets. Getting both : ), cheap mats anyways.

Plus side for this one, it looks different from all the other ones. Not many running around with these in BGs, lvl 78 treat : P
