first 9 / 10 dropped within 1.5 hrs, now it has been 2 days of grinding and i can't get the 10'th one to drop for the quest :(

Will these only drop off elementals when the battle for wintergrasp is going on? or at anytime?

Can anyone confirm that these will drop off any water elemental in Wintergrasp and not just the ones in Glacial Falls?

Edit: Confirmed it myself, the mobs below Glacial Falls will drop them as well, happy farming.

Hopefully when Wintergrasp starts picking up more when it does, they will be easier to obtain through PvP as everyone will farm them.

You can farm all those horde %^&*ing around far away from the objective, amiright? You are never going to complete this quest without farming elementals, and having just killed 20 and having 0 drop, it's looking like i'll never complete this quest.

You need to be on the current daily quest it seems to get the drops, if you've saved it from a previous day drop it and pick up the new one, drop rate should be 10-20% or so.

I just farmed for almost an hour, got 9 Eternal Water and no Breastplate at all... I daresay the drop rate is crappy as hell

The drop rate is horrendous, don't even bother with this quest.

You might have to have control of WG in order to get these.

Seems when the opposite faction got WG the droprate is higher (Iam horde and Ally got WG) the Chest dropped for me 7 times in a row. So maybe they buffed the drop rate now or something like that.

EDIT: It seems after Patch 3.0.9 the droprate is 100% when controlled by Horde or Alliance :) So this is now a very easy honor farm quest!

I got five at once from looting an alliance players insignia after I killed them. This was when we were in control of the fortress and there was no battle going on.

Just kill any 10 water elementals found in, well, waters in Wintergrasp. They have 100% drop rate now.

Had the WG buff and the quest.. these won't drop.
