Essentially, 2 glyphs both improve Shackle Undead.

Blizzard couldnt call both of them "glyph of shackle undead" hence the name of this glyph

And i agree bobjoephil , it is a wonderfully creative name.

Also worth pointing out this is a major glyph and glyph of Shackle Undead is a minor Glyph.

Does this essentially grant 8% spell hit for Shackle?

Healing Priests are at most asked to shackle enemies at +2 levels (e.g. lvl 82 undead while raiding), which requires 6% hit to avoid resists or early breaks. It takes up a Major Glyph slot so most Priests will skip it, but it might be useful when first encountering particular content.

Why is this a major glyph? I can see how and instant cast shackle would be useful as an interrupt on the ICC mobs. But that's so situational I don't see how its worth giving up any of the good major slot glyphs.

Glyph of Scourge Imprisonment: Now reduces the cast time of Shackle Undead by 1 second, up from 0.5 seconds.
