They seem to have a soft cap of max. 10 you can carry with you. ~~So, if you farm them, and a day happens to be busy, farm the next day. Awesome dailies :)~~

Nevemind, this doesn't work. The essences dissapear after turning in the quest.

Also, you shouldnt stand too close when using the Essence. Sometimes they won't work.

I tried to use one while fighting a Seething Revenant: consumed the essence, didn't target a nearby piece of scrap. After the combat ended, I stood in the same place and was able to use the other 2 in my inventory, targeting pieces of scrap a good 10-15 yards away.

This item and the gathering of the resulting quest item can be done in Ghost Wolf form, making the finishing of this quest a little quicker.

Possible also for druids in cat/flight form?

Like most quests, you can do it in cat/bear, but it knocks you out of flight form.

This appears to be a 100% drop rate now. However, 6 are now required for the quest, so I suspect either the stack size will change or the requirement will be changed back.

usually i get 5 of these fast but today when i picked up the quest ive sat here farming forever and ive only gotten 1
