Firestones nor Spellstones no longer disappear when you log out for more than 15min

I was pleasantly surprised to find these in WoTLK. I really have not heard much about them and just stumbled upon them while going over the tooltip and noticing the new description in game.

These are very useful and really bring value to something Warlocks have not had use for in a long time. Great move Blizz on adding this and the Grand Firestone.

These are almost IMBA.

i like more previous version of spellstone, dispeling silence effects in tbc way better than these oil placeholder.h8 blizz.

Use: While applied to target weapon it increases damage dealt by periodic spells by 1% and spell haste rating by 60. Lasts for 1 hour.

Unless specced into Master Conjuror, 60 spell haste is 1.83% haste.

Don't get me wrong I love the way they made the stone, but I would of also enjoyed if they could of kept the original effects (dispel magic + immunity to spells for 5 sec) from pre-BC...

What are Drain Soul and Rain of Fire for the purposes of Firestone and Spellstone? Are they "direct spells" or are they "periodic spells"?

Dots like corruption or direct spells like shadow bolt are easy to figure out, but what about channeled spells?

Spellstones and Firestones have been removed (Patch 4.0.1.)

However, if you had any of them in your inventory before the patch was released, you'll keep them, though they cannot be used. They're just Unique now.
