This might be a real PAIN. They do not drop from the elements there, but they're spread around the mountain at 73,58. The shards are really really tiny, so they might be hard to spot.

For the quest "Lifeblood of the Mosswalker Shrine" Quest helper tells you to slay undead and they have the dot at the wrong location, these are at Lifeblood Pillar which is slightly south west of Mosswalker. I am just talking about quest helper because I know a lot of people are using it to help them level and this little spot could slow you down a lot.

The mountain Koli is referring to is directly south of Mosswalker for those without a coord mod.

The Undead do drop these, just in mind numbingly small amounts

The shard's are not that tiny I think but anyways, I got some shards as well as I was doing the quest: https://www.wowhead.com/cata/quest=12580
As some Mosswalkers die, they dropped a little bag which, in my case, contained twice a lifeblood shard.

I found a whole bunch of these at (70.7 , 53,4)

I found it quite useful to fly up quite high directly over the mountain and as you descend you can quite clearly see lots of little red dots spotted all around the mountain, quite easy to locate this way.

I don't understand. Why does he want us to collect tiny shards while there are tons of shards inside the cave. Even if he's scared of the cave or whatever wrong with him, he could just say enter alone.
