These are the first shoulders I've seen that are an upgrade to my druid's t6 shoulders. They sport 27 more stamina, 336 (at current formula - though this will probably change) more armor, 18 more agility. The attackpower and the strength cancel each other out basically.

These do have 1 socket compared to t6's 2, (though the northrend gems are double the stats of outlands ones) but these have 33 hit rating which is very handy for tanking - and helps them possibly become a cat dps option too.

I got these for my DPS warrior in a group of mostly clothies. Unless you were lucky enough to be in a Sunwell guild in TBC, these are probably the best you're going to see pre-raid.

For a mutilate rogue these are the best blue shoulders you can get, hit rating being the most important stat until you are poison hit capped at 315rating. Trollwoven Spaulders are only a marginal upgrade but Spaulders of Egotism are a huge upgrade. So if you can afford the Spaulders of Egotism then buy them but otherwise these are the best you can get pre raid.

Poison hit cap is 365, and i wouldn't spend the 3000-5000 gold to buy egotism, they drop in naxx and you can get better in naxx soo, if you have alot of gold then by all means get them but dont farm like a mad man inorder to get them

Does anyone know if these shoulders are better than Trollwoven. I know expertise only reduces chance to be dodged or parried but is it only second to hit?
