I like how it can be placed in almost every type of bag except inscriptionist bag. (Keeps telling me only Inscription supplies can be place in Inscription Bags. What does Making the Northend Darkmoon Cards cost? Definitely not Eternal Life.)

The "Created by" tab shows that it requires 9 Crystallized Life to create an Eternal Life, however the way Blizzards spell works is a little misleading.

You "Use" one of the Crystallized Life's which casts a spell that requires another 9 to create an Eternal. It requires 10 in total.

Once patch 3.08 goes live, every Inscriber and Great Grandmaster Trader will mass-change inks of the sea for snowfall ink and produce darkmoon cards.
Then the price for eternal life will increase to a new high mark, no matter where it is on your server at this moment.

Formany farmers it might be messy to compromise all your "crystalized ***" to not soak up the bag space.
I thoguht this could be easy solved. Here is a very simple but useful macro for compromising you crystals to eternals:

Note that eternal lifes are the only eternals that do not fit in mining bags but fits in herb bags.
This is the same as it was for primals, which made sense in an herb bag since you could easily collect them from herbalism on the big trees in Skettis (and now you can herb crystallized lifes off lashers...)

So. I'm a bit of a geek. I also like when someone posts detailed comments about <insert thing/mob/whatever here>

So, for the benefit of future people, I did a little research (as of Patch 3.2) to see how well Wintergrasp Lashers fared now.

Here are the statistics.
First of all, I was little lucky. I intended to stop at 30 minutes, And I didn't see anyone else until right at the end.
I was doing a little over 1800 DPS (Rogue) Unbuffed. The only things I ever had one me were some AoE Cooldowns, and trinket procs. With 1800 DPS, I never once had to wait for respawns, as long as no one was there. Mobs tended to drop 0-3 Crystallized life each

Also, if you're interested, As I can't heal myself, I used Three food items and 9 Heavy Frostweave bandages

The Loot:

81 Crystallized Life (8 Eternal Life, + 1 extra Crystallized Life.)
Various Grey items totalling 27g 34s 1c
Four Greens. In monetary value, they would be sold to vendor for 22g 86s 46c. For Disenchanting them, I got 2 Greater Cosmic Essences and 4 Infinite Dust. Disenchanting is fairly speculative, as I tend to be Ridiculous unlucky, and get stacks of Essences. Dunno about everyone else.

If you wanted to make Money I don't know that this is the way to do it. If you sold all of the Eternal life (We'll ignore the 1 crystallized life), and Vendored Everything, You would end up with 130g 20s 47c, on this run, ignoring the cost of food/bandages (4g 34s 1c / Minute, on average.) I don't typically Farm for money, In fact, I don't even do all of the dailies any one day, but this doesn't seem too bad. I suspect there are much better ways to make money with the same amount of effort.

If you're trying to farm Eternal Life, yeah, it seems quite plausible. I was looking to fill my bank with 22 slot bags, So I needed 14 Eternal life, and in 30 minutes I picked up 8.

Lastly, If you're an herbalist, you might make more or less. I wasn't. All of the Lashers (they come in two varieties) are herb-able, But I think harvesting each one would slow the efficiency. I obviously can't test for how many Eternal Lifes would be gained from this - It was suggested to me that you could likely double what I made by harvesting all of them. Additionally, I noticed Two or three Saronite nodes while I was there.

In 3.3.3, a Gnome named "Frozo the Renowned" Will come to dalaran on his flying carpet, Camping himself at Dalaran Magus Commerce Exchange, selling Eternal lives along with the other eternals for a Frozen orb each.

This is great information but a little more is there is usually about 10 - 14 lashers at one time on the wintergrasp area. also all eternals seem to sell for a bout 20 - 25g minimum on my server so you can easily make 200g by getting 8 EL. Eternal Fire sells for the most but is also the hardest to get (personally)

Tips for Northrend elemental farming:

If your faction controls Wintergrasp, the elementals located in Wintergrasp have high drop rates for elementals. Revenants have a 100% chance to drop elementals with the lesser ones having about a 25% drop chance.
Frozen Orbs can be traded for any eternal (as well as for some other goods) in Dalaran from Frozo the Renowned.
Frozen Orbs can be obtained from heroic WoTLK instances (1 per completed dungeon), bought from the Auction House, or purchased with cataclysm currency Justice Points (110 per orb).
If your character has Mining as a profession, make sure to mine the elemental corpses for extra loot.
Justice Points are easiliy obtainable from running regular dungeons or by converting Honor Points.

My favorite method for farming these is using the frozen orb method. I run regular dungeons and then buy Frozen Orbs with the Justice Points.
