Am I reading that correctly as a one-hand mace? Enhancement shamans just got a healing boost.

This is, of course, just for fun. But let us think about this for a minute...

Say this item was, in fact, one-handed. A melee class that can dual-wield maces (warrior, rogue, shaman) would then have about 450 bonus healing. Why, you ask? Well this is where our little theory gets interesting.

For this next bit to work, we would have to assume (or pretend, whichever you want to do) that the Battlemaster enchant benefits from +healing. Slap that bad boy on both weapons, and now you have a good chance of healing yourself for at least as much damage as whoever or whatever is hitting you would deal. You wouldn't die in pvp, you could grind mobs without stopping to eat... what a wonderful time that would be!

But, a resto shaman could respec enhance after getting this mace and dual wield this and a good healing mace in MH. Then respec resto while leaving this in offhand and even though you unlearn dual wield, i'm pretty sure that it will stay there while being resto unless they changed it.

Archmages’s Guile, Battle Mace of the High Priestess, Terrok’s Gavel, and Sedai’s Blade have all been properly changed to Main-Hand Only weapons

Item was hotfixed to its proper Main Hand status.

Back to talking about this item, this is by far the best blue healing mace in the game, due to that wonderful red (best color) socket.

Just using green gems you can add 13 healing or 7 healing and 1mp5 to get the socket bonus.

Edit: I prefer more +healing than more mp5, but some healers have different ideas.

I wouldn't say that. If socket it with a Royal Nightseye, it compares to Lightsworn Hammer like the following:
- 3 sta
+2 int
+10 healing
- 5 mp5
+15 spellhaste

The difference in sta/int doesn't matter at all. Then to spellhaste: If you are wearing blue quality items, you are in a stage of the game (like estepping into Karazhan), where you shouldn't worry about max healing per time, but max healing over an entire fight.

So it comes down to if you prefer 10 healing over 5 mp5 (or 19 healing over 7 mp5). And imho the mp5 is way better.

this is a really hot pally mace! anyone know if this drops in non-heroic? if so it is probaly the best non-epic healing mace out there easliy beats eccence focuser

It ONLY drops in Non-Heroic, hehe. This is the only instance where heroic loot is completely epic; This boss in particular drops epic trinkets (an amazing healing trinket, might I add). So, if you want this mace (which I advise if you need something to start raiding), just run reg. Kharmaa's Ring of Fate also drops on reg, one of Kael's regular epic drops =].
