this is definetly better then a twink bow/crossbow/gun at its level. just look at the damage range. minimum damage 72. thats all that really counts. imo.

Calculations on the 4 most popular twinkrangeds, hit/crit.
Assuming 472 AP and no mortal shots. (check out kitekite on eu armory, my hunt)

Guns get Hi-Impact Mithril Slugs, Bow precision arrow
12.5/11.5

Sniper Rifle of Markmanship: 27.2dps - 220/440
Shadowforge Bushmaster: 29.3dps - 219/438
The Silencer: 29.2dps - 211/422
Bow of Searing Arrows: 30.9dps - 206/411

This is not included the +7 damage scopes.
Also not included the proc on the bow.

Obviously slow speed kills.

I got a Sniper Rifle of Marksmanship. Pretty perfect. My hunter is only level 32 right now though, but he's looking forward to using this =D

Could do without the ridiculously long scope, but then, looking at the scopes used in Vietnam and such, this isn't so bad.

Got this in the auction house with +6 Agility, sold for 6 Gold.

bought this for my lvl 45 hunter at AH for only 2,5g :D nice speed on it too.. makes the much better! befor this one I had trueshotbow of the whal with something like 1,80 speed or something, and the max crit was like... 700 I think...
now my max crit is 1193 i think :D:D THIS GUN ROCKS! =D

I have to say that is one smooth looking Gun especially on a dwarf, I plan on buying for my human warrior, good 4 picking off runners.

I agree, but don't you think that a Sniper Rifle should have better stats. I mean the best scope in the game is a sniper scope (+7 damage). Just thought that a sniper rifle should be better thats all.

This could be one of the pre BiS items for Phase 2 of season of discovery, (Thats not a Rare Gun / Epic Bow) due to its weapon speed which is what is required for high DPS for MM hunters.
