For those who don't know the Reference.

This is a play on Star Wars, Technological Terror Construct being the Death Star ( Vader refers to the death star as a "Technological Terror you've constructed" to Tarkin ), and "The next best thing to going to the Academy." Referring to Luke staying on another season for Uncle Owen, when His original plans were to go to, well, the Academy. As for Power Converters, Luke did have to pick some up from the Toshi Station. ( Toshley's Station in WOW, Anyone? )

Other then that, Its nothing more then a Toy Firework launcher. Enjoy those Death Star Explosions. ^.^

Toshley's Power Converter is "The next best thing to going to the Academy," and on use, it destroys technological terror constructs. (Actually, it launches a firework into the sky, with a 5 minute cooldown.)

I read all post over again just to make sure, this is an Infinate re-use item, 5 min cooldown but at least half an hour of pure fun. Then throw it in the bank for a month and take it out again for another 2 shots. Then back in the bank... etc.

So you can macro it to a spell you use commonly and once every 5 minutes you'll also get a firework

This item has no practical use in game, it is purely joke.

Luke has to go to Toshi Station (Toshley's Station) to pick up a power converter. Instead of going to the academy he ends up joining the rebellion. Vader tells Tarkin that the technological terror they have constructed is insignificant to the power of the Force. Luke uses the Force to destroy the Death Star. The "firework" this item shoots off does look like the missle Luke shot into the exhaust port.

This item is just for the Star Wars fans like myself who enjoy deep references.

ok so this might be just a coincidence but my brother was fighting a fel reaver and when he started fighting it the health decline was slow and getting boring so he remebered this baby and "used" it on the fell reaver. afterwards the health decline picked up and it started to get its but kicked idk if it was a coincidence or not but hey try it with a group if you still have it and check the results for your self.

Really ppl, that item it's just a sending to Star Wars. Don't go trying to destroy anything with it... CUZ IT'S JUST FOR SHOW! Just like all in the Toshley Station... Wich looks and has mobs that are inspired from Starship Troopers by the way...

Just tried it on some of the constructs in Mechanar. It seems to help increase the rate of damage.

I suspect it is something like that watch item you use in WPL to take down Anja.

Probily just some nosey little reference to Star Wars, but it might actually have some working in game point? I dont know. try it out on some mechanical creature.

The computer once beat me at chess but it was no match for me at kickboxing.

Its for nothing the game is full of small fun gags and references to star wars, Doom, lord of the rings and so on

and if you tjek even more about the gnomes to be exact they have ALOT of star wars gags Exsamle

the droid 3RDO that leads you to the small place wich have a name after a place in star wars

Gnomeregan have a a npc caaled Kenobi and if you decode the binary codes in the slots in gnomeregan there also are som references "cant remember them exact"

so its all just gags

It has a 5 min cooldown, its level 108, and it works as suggested. Try using it on a Boss in Steam Vaults.

Confirmed today 08/13/07. I went and picked a fight with a Fel Reaver. Used this hunk o junk and it fired off a single firework. Fel Reaver looked at me and said to me with a metallic voice, "Noob" and began to stomp me as I ran for the hills. So yeah junk.

I'll try it out over the next few days - I'm thinking the reapers in Westfall, against some eng summons in duels (by helpful friends), and Gnomeregan, for starters.

If it does show any damage or effect, I'll let you all know. I wouldn't have tried it against a reaver, personally - start slow/low & work your way up, I would guess.

If anyone srolled to the bottom, lemme save you some time. The comments here are 99% Star Wars spam. One person sugested it works on Fel Reavers, but that claim was discredited. All you have is a toy.

come on people who really cares if it dont do anything... as far as im concernd its nothing... or is it ? all other stuff is useless as in a lvl or 2 you have better stuff anyway... so get this and have some fun trying to figure it out who knows what it may do could work on fel reavers as posted above ? it could be random on what it works on (one thing 1 day another thing the next) ? so get it and try it ...

any idea how to recover it? it's now a toy at WOTLK, and in TBC was just an item that took place in my bags, so i deleted it
now i'm farming all toys just for fun, and found out, that i dont have it, and it's one time reward for not-repeatable quest
created a ticket, waiting GM's response

In the new Toy Box Collections tab, this is usable by both factions. Just got it on my Alliance character and my Horde characters are now all able to fire off one rocket every 5 minutes.
