I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could answer my question. In regards to all of these unique epic gems:

If I were to win a Royal Tanzanite and immediately use it to socket a piece of gear, would I be able to win more of them if they dropped in the future?

This just dropped for me, my first time in heroic Slave Pens. I am a 70 holy pally and told the group that i needed it, so the feral druid rolled need as well and took it. idk what a feral druid needed it for but It sure would have gone well with my https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=28505

As posted by dev on wow forums, as of 2.4 these will no longer be unique-equipped. Stock up now!

This is equal in stats to Royal Shadowsong Amethyst, and since it is no longer unique equipped, this is going to be very popular amongst healers, especially resto shammies. Heroic SP is a very popular instance too, seeing as it's 3 badges in 30 mins (5 if it's daily) if you got a decent group. Happy farming <3

Anyone else noticed this it the only gem where it says "mana per 5 sec" and not "Mana per 5 sec". I just had to tell someone about it!

I'm thinking since it says "unique", you can only have one... have yet to see it drop :(

It says it's unique and i got one the other night. The next day another one dropped...now...i didn't test it out, but if i put this in a socket anyone know if you can loot another? I'm thinking you can. It seems that it'll drop pretty often...and i'm thinkin that if 1-2 drop a week i might as well put this to use. Anyone try this yet?

=P Got one of these for my priest earlier today. Awesome gem. The boss is also VERY easy. Had a shammy off healing druid tanking mage/lock dps. Was easy, didn't even have the NR buff =P

i know i was thinking of this cuz over all the socketed items i use only give plus 7 and either +1mp5 or with +3 int. ima start farming for it too, totaly worth it yes?

's worth it tbh.
put em in the exodar lifestaff along with a lambent chrysoprase and chuck a +81 healing enchant and you got yourself a staff that gives

+0.4% spell crit
5 spell hit rating
+405 mana points
+420 healing
23 mp5

At least, that's what it'd be for a lv70 Nelf Druid

Ok, so then once you have 1 of these gems, you won't be able to get another one even if it is already socketed or not on you?

This dropped off Mennu the Betrayer for me

This one dropped for me some hours ago but from Mennu the Betrayer, also heroic slave pens. I checked atlas and it said that Quagmirran should drop it and nothing about Mennu the Betrayer.

2.4 All Heroic gems will NOT be Unique-Equipped, meaning you can socket as many as you'd like in the armor you wear. I'm personally going to farm this one and perhaps the 5 Spirit / 9 Healing one... not sure how much more useful spirit is in 2.4.
