i agree with the statement that priests need to be tailors. i have 3/3 mooncloth and 2/2 whitemend and just having those alone (enchanted and socketed) gives me more plus healing than priests ive seen wearing gear with a lot higher gear values. just makes me mad that priests need to be tailors to further themselves, when paladins have a lot more choices when it comes to plate healing gear.

I'm not suggesting gear obtained from raiding should instantly outstrip crafted gear, especially crafted gear that costs either a lot of money or a significant time investment to create. But, at the same time, these recipes outstrip drops from bosses so far down the line it's not even funny. But, I get a benefit from it BEING a tailor, so I won't complain.

Either way, these are a pretty consistent drop for my guild. I think just about every holy priest tailor in the guild (even people who have since left raiding, and newbies who joined us recently) has a pair. They have been changed, visually, to closely resemble Teir 5 gear. The color scheme matches the Avatar sets, but it's SLIGHTLY different in shape from the boots that drop off of Fathomlord. Then again, if you're a holy priest, you'll likely never see your boots anyway, so it's not that big a deal. :)

According to the loot list this only drops in SSC but it dropped for my priest last night off of trash while clearing Solarian's room.

Can't decide if these are worth crafting since I already have the healing boots off of Zul'jin.

I suspect a lot of people will try to get this in the 4.3 patch to match the Avatar set :)

Drops in Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep: The Eye 25 man raid instances. The Pattern is BoE the Item it creates is BoP so you can only ever make them for yourself. These are arguably the best priest boots till Mt Hyjal / Black Temple so well worth the investment.

bought today. 350g on ah. ;)

There was a total of 3 of them from same banker and all for 275g/350g.

(there is BIG noobs on my server, Silvermoon. You see.. they are there for 275g bid, I took a chance and just put a bid on one of them. when I checked later on someone had bought one of the patterns, and someone had put a bid on the one I bidded on! so he had paid 288g to just lay a bid, if the guy would have been smart he had bidded on the other pattern instead to be able to get it cheaper.. -_-
So instead of fooling around with bids and &*!@ I took buyout, and is now on 82g on all my chars. gief mats!)

I got this pattern off a trash mob before Voidreaver last night I was so excited being the only holy priest 375 tailor in the raid. After we finished I ran to org and got all the mats and made them last night I was so happy.

Bought pattern for 800g yesterday, for me as a non-raider it's the best boots i have seen so far. Blows away my Boots of the Pious from heroic mechanar, so i felt it was well worth the money. Mats seem easy enough, just i dont have any nethers anymore and i refuse to buy em for badges when i still need the Bishop's Cloak.

bought the pattern for 280g on frostmourne.. there was another on the AH at the time for 850g I think. Figured for the price I got it for it was worth making them for my priest who is currently rocking the slippers of serenity (lvl 65 blue).
