This hammer is nice, both in looks and stats... arguably the best healing weapon in game at the moment. Though unfortunately for nightelf priests/druids who like to pvp.. it wont shadowmeld. Hopefully that will be patched soon.

This is a great helaing mace for Priests and Druid. I also find it to be fairly good for Paladins. Shamans would probably prefer to get the mace from the Maiden or one of the ones for reputation or heroics with 280ish healing and mana/5sec.

Light's Justice drops from Prince Malchezaar on top of the tower in Karazhan.
This hammer is a beauty, both for druids, priests, and paladins in some situations.
Druids can get a nice use of the spirit now, and priests always had a nice use of spirit. The +healing is insane, and in use with a good off-hand, like this one: https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=28728 (there's probably better ;) )
This weapon will be hard to beat.
On this one, i would proably enchant +healing, or intellect.

This mace is wonderful for all healers not just druid/priest/paladin.
As a resto Shaman I would kill to get my hands on one of these. though yes 8mp/5 would be better than the spi, the +to heals this one has is gorgeous.

Added more healing in 2.1.0. lol. Lacks the mp5 of the equally buffed but still slightly inferior Shard of the Virtuous.

I have noticed a lot of arguments over who should get what item. In a nutshell.. if you want more +healing, get Light's Justice. If you want more +mana per five, get Shard of the Virtuous.

Personally I feel Light's Justice is a superior item because it allows you to "bank" a large amount of healing on a single slot, and frees up others for high-mana regeneration equipment without risking quite so much +healing.

Of course this is just my two cents, both are very decent items and any healer would do well to have either one. Best enchant is probably Spellsurge to offset the lack of regen on this.

Id say this is for priests/druid and Shard of the Virtuous for pallies/shammies due to the lack of spirit (which both druids and priests use for healing) and also more stam (even if its a very bit) to prolong the pally/shammy survival. Everyone keeps talking about how u always cast and and never get to fully use ur spirit, well, thats true for pallies hence +mp5s, whereas priests have meditation that allows more mana regen while casting. Some priests even stack up 2 pieces trans to get more mana regen while casting, but i find thats a waste of stats u could get with awesome 70epix.

Conclusion: Priests pwn with spirit and high heals | Pallies pwn with good heals and mana regen.

Just wondering for those who have it, have you found that the +81 healing enchant is preferable or the +30 intellect.

Since this has +spirit instead of +mp5s, I figure the bigger mana pool would be better, but I am looking for recommendations (if I get it - Prince hasn't dropped it yet).

One thing I have noticed as a Druid using this over Shard of the Virtuous is that it gives you 2 Mp5 while casting as well as 7 mp5 while not casting. So by using this over Shard you gain around 40 more bonus healing, 7 more mp5 while not casting and you only lose 4 mp5 while casting.

The design has a spider's head on the side, or some kind of insect.
It's likely that the looks/design are back from Naxxramas, it definately looks like something nerubian, post undead.

(not very important, but it tells you that Blizzard may have used this as a naxx left-over.)

I had a pally in my Kara the other night get mad because this mace was master looted to our main healer also a pally and he wasnt allowed to roll on this item as a tanking weapon. Even though you could tank with this weapon to take it from a healer is just plain stupid. Am i missing something? Is this in fact a uber tanking weapon for a pally tank and i am the dumb one here? I dont play pallys so have no idea.

Concerning the usefulness of this mace as a paladin, one should not over-estimate the fact that the spirit is wasted. Compated to Shard of the Virtuous, it's 34 more +healing and nothing will change that.

So the question is; 1 more intellect and 34 more healing vs 6 stamina and 6 mp5. To me, stamina is almost wasted and with my plate and bubbles I don't take it into account. On the other hand, mp5 is good even if I'd rather have spell crit. In fact I haven't enchanted my boots with Vitality, even though I'm thinking about doing it. To me, Light's higher amount of healing > Shard's marginally larger amount of mp5.

Won this last night.. I swear I do not know what Blizzard was thinking when they combined +Healing and +SD together into spell damage. I had to roll against a Mage, Warlock, Ele Shaman, and a Resto Druid(Resto druid I didn't care I rolled against). But I got it and it looks sexay! =D

Get Major Healing for it deff, and be carefull with this new spell power bullcrap. Got 4 previously-healing items taken from me by mages, locks, ele shamans -.-

Btw just to ask how did you roll against a warlock and mage.. they can't use maces but anyways now because of the TBC raid nerf this is good to use as a priest/paladin/druid nice looks to but ever since my server has pugs up to ssc(once again because of the nerf) there is better to achieve, but right now I'm trying to achieve this gl to everyone else and also didn't drop the 3 times I ran so far since the new patch

If you can't get better, after 3.0.2 patch, this mace is your best friend if you're shadow priest or boomkin also! As you see, it includes +spirit, which is ALSO a must for all spriests & boomkins. So, if you see it, roll for it.

Edit: It looks as if enchants will not be transferred over with the weapons. A shame, since weapon spellpower enchants nowadays seem to lack the "healy"-feeling glows.

Im currently running kara every week for this to transmog on my 70 pally twink. Looks amazing with Aegis of the Sunbird paired with the conquerors gear set: Conqueror's Vambraces (and the like). The chestpiece of the set is kinda reddish and tiny on a tauren so im currintly working to get the Tabard of the Shattered Sun which looks great with the set. Also, the Cloak of Healing Rays goes really well with the set, its not too bright, and not too dull. Ive still got some work to do on the shoulders... I have yet to find some that both match the set colorwise, and dont look dorky. t6 shoulders are wayyy to bright, the s3 are better, but still a bit overdone. ive also got Valorous Helm and im looking for the shoulders of the set which go pretty well with the gear. Let me know if yall like it, once i finish the set ill post

For me, as a priest, it's a really tough call between this mace and Shard of the Virtuous ( Shard of the Virtuous ). As fights can tend to be long at times, I'm not sure if the loss of 6mp5 would really be all that significant as compared to an additional 35 healing.

I find my current Shard of the Virtuous with Netherwing Spiritualist Charm ( Netherwing Spiritualist's Charm ) to be quite a good combination although The argument could be made to replace SotV with LJ.

The only other offhands I would consider replacing my NethSpi Charm with would be:
Aran's Soothing Sapphire: ( Aran's Soothing Sapphire )
or
Tears of Heaven: ( Tears of Heaven )

If I was going to just go a single staff route, the only one I would possibly consider using would be Nightstaff of the Everliving ( Nightstaff of the Everliving ) - although I don't personally think it beats any of the above combinations even considering I am specced 25% of spirit -> +healing as well as the human spirit racial (+10% spirit) and improved death (+15% spirit). It really is a tough call but this would likely be better for a ToL druid.

Tis an awesome weapon for any healer. Cant beat 382 healing on a main hand. It IS a shame, however, that there is no mp5 on it. would make it wonderous. Priest weap first and foremost because of the +spir, then split between pallys, shammys, and droods, i suppose. Oh well. Definitely a fun one to use while i wait on that ever so elusive SotV. Plus, it looks tight as hell with a +81 healing enchant on it.

I got it today off my guilds first prince kill, i also got the healing offhand item from the shade of aran the night before. with the mace enchanted my main and offhand now give 461+healing.

The healing enchant has a minor updated graphic in 2.1. Looks great on this item.. it's a "holy" effect identical to a holy caster's hands when casting. It also leaves a trail of light behind you when you run.

This just dropped today...and i got it. It put me up to 2014 bonus healing unbuffed =]. The last time we downed Prince the pally outrolled me and i was kind of mad because i mean, it does have spirit and it benefits priests more than pallies but when i thought about it, the pally still had a blue mace (I had the staff from nightbane) so i think its more of a upgrade for him anyways. I know there is a lot of arguement whether or not this is a priest weapon or a pally weapon. In my opinion, I think that because of the spirit bonus, priests should have the opportunity to get it first, without being bias towards one class. However, in the scenario of the pally having the blue mace, i think i would of given it to him had i not wanted it so bad cause, this drops more often than the shard of the virtuous from my experience and a few other people's experiences.

Killed prince a few times without seeing this drop, but if it does i would prefer it over shard for the extra heals. Either one is a pretty nice upgrade to gravel of pure light from shatar rep. https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=29175/gavel-of-pure-light. Also, to the comment about priests and druids rolling on shard, how true lol.

The first who need that is a druid(resto) or a priest(holy).If they already got epics don't be selfish and let the pala(holy) and shaman(resto) have it cause its much better all healers got epics than rare ones. :)

After farming kara for months, the shard finally dropped from maiden. Me and our shammy were excited as hell (we both had the pentinence hammer from mech) so we both rolled on it. He won by 2, which really dissapointed me. However, the next night, we did prince, and this bad boy drops. He passed to me bc thats what good guildies do for one another, and we were both stoked cause he got the better weap for shammys and i got the better weap for duids.

I'm a holy pally, and the first time I saw Light's Justice drop, I had The Essence Focuser, so basically, anything would have been a dramatic improvement. I lost the roll, but ended up getting the gladiator mace with honor, lol.

The spirit aspect of Light's Justice wouldn't help a healadin much, since you're basically casting continuously during almost all engagements. Even if you find a moment where you don't need to heal, you should take that opportunity to stun or judge a seal.

I just got the gladiator healing mace and put 81 healing on it... Now that gives more stamina but less int, and only gives 375healing. So i am hoping that Lights Justice drops for me this week in KZ because the healing, and int, and spirit is better so i hope this drops!

Just got this yesterday. Combined with the epic offhand from Moroes and a +81 healing enchant, it made the difference between kara geared and 25 man geared for my guild.

I have run Kara 7 times, 7 weeks in a row, and this has never dropped, but shard of the virtuous did drop and a druid outrolled me.. still using hammer of the penitent )= it's the only blue I have left.
