Drops in Karazhan from the Wizard of Oz event (one of the three possible events in the Opera House in Karazhan). I unfortunately do not know which of the specific bosses of the event drops this trinket.

This seems like a pretty good trinket when flash healing everybody in the raid. If you're only healing the main tank there better trinkets out there though.

its too hard to coordinate to be useful. I got it and would only use it if i ever was to go back to patchwerk, which i highly doubt i will.

Yo don't need 5 healers with this trinket to be useful. Just put a druid for exmaple using it, casting 3 lifebloom, rejuvenation a instant regrowth or healing touch. In k seconds you have +100 healing on the tank.

I think it can ve very useful when a boss get frenzy or enraged

+100 healing is next to nothing. Raid healers sport 1200+ minimum already. If this was a passive effect instead of a cooldown, this trinket might actually be good, but when you can use +spell crit or mp5 trinkets and the infinite cycle already giving +70 heal, I dont see the point

Most useless trinket ever invented. Go to blood Furnance, get a Auslese's Light Channeler (https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=24390) from the second boss, easily farmable, gives a CONSTANT +59 healing and reduces mana cost by 215 on next spell every 3minutes.
Compare that lvl 61 trinket to these ribbons, you get the constant 59 (rounded to 60(3stacks of the use on ribbons)) and a mana saving use. As I said, most useless trinket EVER.

Having used this trinket myself (a druid) and talking to pallies and priests in guild that have also briefly had this trinket, I can confirm that it is completely useless for any healing class.

Just accept that it's a void crystal and save yourself the small amount of time it would take to figure out that this trinket is terrible.

This procs off Vampiric embrace. I've got this as a shadowpriest and I love it.

And no, it's not useless. It's a very good trinket in 25man raids and even in some 5-10man boses where serveral people in your party get hit.

In the 2.1.0 major content patch, this item has a passive 10mp5 bonus and the healing bonus is now +30 instead of +20.

Ribbon of Sacrifice now gives 30 heal per application, as well as has an equip bonus of 11 mana/5

I honestly wanted to give this a shiot on my druid and did not like it all so i vendored it. After recently seeing how it got buffed on the ptr i made sure to talk to a GM right away about getting it restored. it had been well overe 2 weeks since i vendored and he reinstasted the item for me so if you had made the same mistake as i did and want to get it back dont be afraid to file a gm ticket.

This Item is quite good as a paladin as while it is active, if you have a judgement of Light on an enemy all melee that hit the target and get health from it receive the buff :) Add to this that your doing flash of light etc, it can add up so say your doing a 25man 5-6 are melee, your flash of light (can get on average about 7 flash of lights and a holy shock off, thats say 6x20 atleast as the light doesnt proc that much, and 7x20....

13x20Healing = 260 + healing to these targets if they need healing, add to that it is being buffed more in next patch. I dont mind Wasting a trinket slot on this at all.

As the 2nd to top comment states, this is a Main Tank healer trinket. It does not benefit you personally as much as it benefits the Main Tank during boss fights.

On its last proc, it will be giving a healing bonus of 150 to all direct heals on that target. Considering the average boss fight involves spamming the MT, this is a very nice little buff.

But to consider it only insofar as it affects your own +healing and stats really doesn't do it justice.

**Note, it no longer has mp5 as of 5/09/2007 on the 2.1 PTR. I hope they put that back and nix the healing. Otherwise, im afraid its a shard.

This trinket makes Circle of Healing worth getting, you can buff the entire party with this. I use it every chance I get, especially on Curator.

best situation to use it i remember is gruuls lair and gruul himself at growth 15 or higher. triggering at your maintank makes him receive +150heal on all incoming heals.

I assume that by direct heals this means it won't proc off of HoTs such as renew and rejuvenation. Is this the case?

How does this work with chain heal? Does it only put the buff on the initial person you hit with the spell, or does it go on everyone?

As a paladin, I love this trinket for hard-hitting tank-n-spank fights. It increases EVERYONE'S healing on the MT, and that's awesome. When a boss enrages, this ribbon becomes your best friend.

I got this drop tonight and I am a CoH priest. I was using my Essence of the Martyr in a macro with CoH and changed it to this Ribbon of Sacrifice. I can honestly say that any CoH priest should get this trinket. I was able to bring a group up to full health in a matter of seconds. As each person in the group gets the buff and stacks for a total of 150% healing.
My unbuffed +healing is 1983 and around 2039 raid buffed give or take a 100 depending on group make up, buff food, elixirs & flask etc.

This is also a helpful trinket for late in the Gruul fight when the raid healers are switching over to keeping the tanks up.

An 11 mana/5 equip bonus, and the use ability was increased to 30s and +30 heal per stack

This trinket is really bad for Druids! As it is right now, the use ability stacks come from: Last tick on Lifebloom, Regrowth initial heal, Swiftmend and Healing Touch.

This means, if you want this to have any real effect, you'll need to time your lifebloom stack with a swiftmend from Rejuv and the cast of a Regrowth and then spam 2x rank 1 healing touch. Either that, or spam 5 Rank 1 healing touch. Either way, it's not really usefull if you need to keep a tank up.
