This quest chain begins in the Hellfire main camps of Honor Hold OR Thrallmar. The first quests require you to visit the faction respective outposts to the north of the Hellfire areas and kill various demons as well as particpate in an in flight bombing run. Your final objective is to kill an elite demon in the heavily camped area of the Pools of Aggonar. Bring a party with you because this quest reward will replace your Bladefist's Breadth right out at level 60.

In the Burning Crusade, this will be the trinket that replaces Blackhand's Breadth. I know that I will be sad when I have to give up the trinket that I have carried for many months, through so many dungeon crawls, and through so many ganks... However I will be happy knowing that this trinket owns much more.

*Sniff* I don't think I've ever been this emotional over pixels in a videogame before.

Just a side note: the buff lasts for 10 seconds and is called 'Ferocity'. And I believe you can begin the quest chain for this simply by killing Razorsaw (he drops a scroll which you click for a quest to talk to an NPC in your respective Hellfire city).

p.s. not to brag but just to say that it can be done: I finished all of the quest chain solo (even Arazzius) as a 60 rogue on a pvp server.

Just for any Rogues out there who are curious, this trinket will break stealth. So don't try to use it while stealthed and near mobs.

Been using this trinket since Hellfire, and haven't found anything to take it's place. The AP bonus/use is fantastic when I use it while DPSing bosses (fury warrior). Deathwish, this trinket, Blood fury, and Bloodthirst can make for a monster spike in damage.

As far as my damage gear goes, anything other than a trinket with good crit is a waste, IMO, and this little gem doesn't let me down. Currently using it with Hourglass of the Unraveller https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=28034 and will switch between that and the Skyguard Silver Cross https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=32770 , when I am solo grinding.

we killed with a BM hunter a MM hunter and a rogue...the rogue died from debuff but hunters lived, the rogue got the kill anyway. hes pretty easy just tank and spank nothing special he has around 42k hp so it takes about 3-4 min to kill

This trinket is on a seperate timer from Bladefist's Breath but both last 15 seconds and they both will share the 15 second global cooldown on activating. Still you get almost the same oomph for 30 seconds that way, just one more button push.

There is a shortage of critical strike rating trinkets but no shortage of defense trinkets at end game. 900 hp is not going to make or break a battle...its about the same as a small heal from a well geared healer. I would have to say Bladefist's Breadth is a better option for any dps/tank hybrid.

I have a fury / prot warrior at lv 60 right now about to do this. there seem to be mixed oppinions about wether to get this or the def one. i intend to go full prot at lv 70.

I still use this with my epic hunter, but im not sure if its the right choice for a warrior as crit is easier to get via agi

This isn't as good at 70 as I thought it was - on my enhancement shammy, it gives 1.18% crit :-(

I use this with the War Talisman.....they have independent cool down times. So you can get 30 secs of attack power increase if you do them back to back.

Beautiful little trinket. Upon "using", it added 19.6 DPS on my 61 BM hunter. Im using it along with https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=34423. Im sure it will last me a long time.

This item does not share it's full cooldown with other similar items of this type, only time the buff it gives is on. It means you can use one of them after another, but their effect cannot be stacked.

The same effect is used by Cracked Power Cores.

Personally, I like the effect. It's shiny :D

For those of you who like shiny, or just plain odd things, this SHOULD be a must, just for the effect, and if you can't get this, get a Cracked Power Core. Maybe you're not as nuts as me, but if you are, that will be worth it. lol :P

Easy way to find which other items share cooldowns? Just use the Shared Cooldown feature found next to the comments tab for the item.

Orcs can macro it along with their Blood Fury for a extra boost

This is assuming that the trinket is in the first trinket slot. If it is in the second slot just change it to /use 14.
Also Blood Fury is got a 2 min cooldown so for max effect use this once every 2 mins instead of 1:30.

You then turn it in at Honor Hold which allows to pick up the Overlord quest.

Seems to share its cooldown with Devilsaur Eye too, to which it is a moderate upgrade, was hoping I could kick both of them in for a double boost.

Its like Earthstrike and Blackhands rolled into one.

It only doesn't share a cooldown with the Dreanie Talisman from terrokar. Both the caster and +AP trinkets from terrokar can be popped simultaneously with any other +damage or +ap trinket. It is probably a bug and will be addressed eventually.

This is an end game item. Hunters will be still using this at lvl 70.

As a warrior, I setup a macro to use this and battle shout at the same time. Whenever battle shout is getting low, I press it and gain 400+ AP

I put this and the Ancient Draenei War Talisman on when doing boss fights. Hit both of them and Rapid Fire with Quick shots. I hit 450~500 DPS. Completely destroy everything that I can hit with just Autoshot. Very nice trinket.

the quest dropps from a dude that you need to kill in order to close a burning legion portal, after this, you will be sent to honor hold to report of this. Then set out on a quest to kill like.. 10 dreadlords or something, in the greenish pools up in the north. after that, you get a quest that will get you this tinket. you will need to kill a fairly strong lvl 63 to do so.. or whatever..

the first quest in this chain is called "Eradicate the burning legion" you get it when you first come though the portal i belive. if not its in thrall, the big guy in the middle of main building in the center is the quest giver for this entire chain.

To get this trinket, head north to a camp called Invasion Point: Annihalator in Hellfire Peninsula. There are two named mobs there, and one of them drops a letter. Return it to Honor Hold, and get two quests there, one of which allows you to get this trinket as a reward. Get a group, you have to kill a 63 elite.

Okay, you all are a bunch of F-ing !@#$%^s, and thanks for all the crappy posts telling me what NOT to do... I wasted a lot of time trying to follow your posts only to find out that the people who posted stuff above are idiots who didn't really know sh-t about sh-t.

For any of you who actually WANT to know how to get this...

All you have to do is go to 52,28 in Hellfire Peninsula to the Invasion Point: Annihilator area (there is also a quest by the same name which you DO NOT have to do to get the note to drop), which is straight north of Honor Hold and straight west of Honor Point. Kill Warbringer Arix'Amal, he will drop a note that starts a quest named The Dark Missive. Accept the quest and turn it in at the castle in Honor Hold. When you turn that quest in you'll get a quest to kill Terrorfiends (if you want to do it) and the guy next to the dranaei that you turn the dropped letter quest in to, Force Commander Danath will then have a quest called Overlord that you can accept. This is the actual quest to get the trinket. You then have to go to Pools of Aggonar and kill Arazzius the Cruel, located at 43,32. He is a tough cookie and you WILL need a group. It should be easy to put a group together as there are lots of people already there wanting to kill him as well. After you kill him, turn the quest back in to Force Commander Danath at the castle in Honor Hold and you'll have your trinket and about 8 gold.

this is a great, extremely useful DPS trinket that's easy to get. it provides solid lowest common denominator buffs (+crit & +attack) instead of situation based buffs ("only works against undeads!" or "only against dragons!" or whatever)... so you will be using it pretty much constantly until you can find a stronger +attack trinket to replace it. highly recommended for anyone who plays a physical DPS class.

Any1 kno what i should get my war is fury and i dont kno if i should get this or the other 1 that increases my health an defense....can any1 help cause i think that this 1 is the best for lvling but the other increases my health ...and most ppl in the LFG for most instances r looking for a tank so the "Regal Protectorate" would be best for tanking...

Recreating this post on Trinket threads as it may be useful to you:
A macro:
/use Name Of Trinket
/cast Name Of Move
Then swap in this macro's icon to where the attack icon was. An easy combo for any fight and it'll be ready again before you know it. If you want to choose when trinket pops rather than blowing your cooldown at first chance, place macro in 2nd bar at same spot as regular attack and assign Shift/key#.

You can even do multiples ie:
/use Bladefist's Breadth
/use Crystalforged Trinket
/use Bladefist's Breath
/use Yet Another Choice
/cast Backstab

If a trinket is not ready or equipped, you'll just get "item not ready" and your attack continues like normal.

BM Hunters: Make a macro to use this nd BW at the same time both have a 2 min cooldown and in combo your and your pets dps just skyrocketed to an extreme level! In a Bg or dungeon your opponents better run in fear even thoguh you aren't a warlock :P

DPS Shaman and low on mana? Try using this just before you activate Shamanistic Rage. Since the trinket gives you 200 AP which you get 30% of each time you melee plus whatever your normal AP is, just sit back and watch your mana soar sky high...

is it only obtainable at 63 ?

I have done all the quest from Trollbane but he still has no yellow marker on his head therefore I cant pick up dis quest?
IS IT BECAUSE I AM STILL 62 ?

You have to do all the bombing quests then head over to forge camp mageddon and do the quests there to kill the dudes, then follow that chain until you get the quest Invasion Point: Annihilator then when u kill the main guy for that he usually drops a letter. If he doesnt, kill him again till you get it. From there u have to return the letter, and u'll get a quest to go to the Pools of Agonnar and kill Terrorfiends. After u return that quest you can get the quest called Overlord. That will give u the trinket.

I've got this trinket and I'm not 100% sure if I should keep using it as a 70 shaman. I know it's meant for melee attacks (hence the AP buff), but I have to ask. Does the % crit chance apply to spells as well? If so, I've got a decent trinket for the healing/spell DPS set I'm trying to put together. If not, there are plenty of others out there.
