One of the best shoulder enchants in the game for casters. The crit chance is good as it is, but with the bonus damage, it becomes amazing. It drops off Sapphiron in the Frostwyrm Wing of Naxxramas. Two shoulder enchants drop per kill, my guild has killed him several times and won't stop till we all have these great enchants.

Depending on your spec, you may be better of with sticking to ZG shoulder enchants, because it offers more base +Damage. However, if you are speced into crits, this should have priority on your shoulders.

This remains the best caster shoulder enchant, better than the exalted scryer grind shoulders.

You can get these on a lvl 60+ and attach them to a lower level BoE item.

Can anyone confirm that these items can still be used on BoE items and resold since patch 3.0?

Edit: nevermind, I was hoping to wait til I could buy some lvl 29 green shoulders of the eagle but I ended up settling for lvl 28 ones with +6/+6 and enchanted it and they're still BoE. Side note, selling lvl 28 cloth shoulders of the eagle with this enchant if anyone wants to buy it :)

Considering Exalted with ZG give you a 18 +dmg to shoulder... And beside some long and annoying grinding it is everything but hard to get.

This one drop from Sapph. One of the hardest boss around currently. Just getting to him is one hell of a challenge.

So :

18 +dmg vs 15 +dmg/1% +crit?

Don't get me wrong. 15 +dmg/ 1 crit IS better.
But is it THAT much better for the amazing effort needed?

I won't spit on it if it drop for me... But I will spend my point on other stuff before.

Also, check the item lvl... 60.
Other Saph item are level 90.

Level 60 enchant will give crap for crit rating mi rite? Seems like at 70 it will be only marginally better if at all better than just the ZG enchant.

If anyone has one of these on Scarlet Crusade I'll buy one for one of my twinks just send a tell to Necris, Necrøn, or Ðrakkan (Horde side), or Ðecørus (Alliance side). And yes you can put this on twinks but the item has to be BoE.
