The speed on this is 3.8 which makes this a very nice weapon indeed. The slower the better for procs with most classes.

its a prolly the next upgrade from https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=13018. thats what i have currently so i am hoping i can find this axe with the strength base enchant

I did 8 mara runs and never saw gatorbite so i decided to buy this axe.it looks better than gatorbite and has only 2 dps less than this axes

+ this axes have +16+16 so +16 str is not far from 2 dps

also the speed is perfect for a war its the same as arcanite reaper:)

and for those who buy lord alexander's u just wasted alot of money for nothing cause u better keep ur money for ar

when my warrior was lvl51 and still using truesilver champion I heard a tip to buy one of these, so I checked the AH, picked up xxx of the bear for about 4g :) was either that or 30-40g on great alexander battle axe or something so I was happy to just take the cheap option.

it was great too though, took a while to get used to the speed difference (3.00 truesilver champion and 3.80 axe) but it's worth it :) had many many hordies on ally alts complaining about this axe :) that was a while ago though, before weapon speed normalisation and enrage nerfs, used to kick out 2200 MS crits at lvl55 with this thing, while wearing all green gear..those days are long gone now..

(use arcanite reaper waiting for OEB or a decent 1h to drop to start a fury respecc now)

This axe is pretty good if it's ...of the Bear. 16 strength and stamina. Not bad if you ask me.

Got one with 50AP at level 52, the speed is perferct! really nice weapon for ret pala! (i believe same as warrior)
