It seems Heal will become the main Holy (and maybe Disc) cast heal, and so extra 5% crit seems good for a 2pc.

540 Spirit is 270 mp5 while casting, and if I'm not mistaken, is quite a boost to spellpower. So it's always useful.

Ever since WotLK came out, the look of the priests new PvE sets were going downwards. The absolution set, the avatar set - all those were very priest-like and now they give us this -- so dissapointing.

Btw - give the mages t11 set to warlocks and replace the fire to black smoke - it suits them far better.

Lol the only class this set fit's is a nelf with the moonwells on the shoulders and I think that blueish crap on the face is a problem with the 3d loader. as the lock set has no torso and etc.

P.S after looking properly at the set they aren't moonwells but little people about to drink some water >.< and imo they should make the little men be praying instead of holding bowls.

Imo 2pc should be changes to also increase crit chance of Smite by 5% to make it worthwhile for those disc priests who choose to use Smite.

You are quite mistaken. Spirit no longer grants us spell power, and the amount of mana regen gained from spirit is found through a formula which factors in your intellect, as explained by this Wiki.

EDIT: just wanted to point out that the 5-second-rule as explained in the Wiki no longer exists.

However, as was the case in early Wrath, spirit will be our best stat for a tier or two.

The worst itemized pieces in this set are the helm and chest due to having crit. Personally I'd take the tier helm and get an off-set chest as the chest has more crit than the helm.

EDIT: this is specifically for holy. Crit is quite a viable choice as a secondary stat for disc. Should have pointed that out.

Pretty lackluster bonus for A/A Disc priests. WTB bonus to atonement heals in 2pc bonus.

As for the most amusing looking, look at the pali head piece, you too will be rofl, however, I absolutely agree that the toilets must go, and the headpiece... Well after you see the pali head, you will probably agree that it could have been worse, at least the head can be hidden....
*edit- Ok, I can hide the head, get the 4 piece set bonus from everything BUT the shoulder (find something else), and this will look AMAZING on my BE priestess (bare midriff). When will blizz add a button to hide shoulders as well as head and back? (or have I missed it?)

Smite Healing is for PvP/Leveling/5-mans. It simply doesn't have the throughput or reliability needed for raiding and that is why there is no set bonus for it.

If Smite has no place in raid environment and therefore there are no set bonuses for it, it means that abilities which get tier piece bonuses must be raid-worthy.

Heal must have "throughput or reliability needed for raiding" and that's why it has a set bonus. Can you see the logic you provided?

Your smite is for x and x argument is just plain wrong. (Also, it's especially not good for pvp, since Mind Spike does more damage even for disc.)

The main thing I find heal good for is when I'm burning mana fast and there is a lul in damage on the tank I'm healing. I have more mp5 than this spell cost atm and it does a decent job of keeping a tank above 50% while I'm generating mana. 5% crit will just mean I will be able to generate more mana by upping the throughput :)
