The Bilgewater Cartel is a cartel of goblins that runs Bilgewater Port on Kezan.

At BlizzCon 2009 it was said the playable goblins start out as part of the Bilgewater Cartel.

Little known fact, they have the best deals anywhere!

Goblins may or may not have deals that are the best deals. Goblins are not help responsible for faulty products sold/produced by said race.

The Bilgewater Cartel Quartermaster can be found in Orgrimmar at coords 50,59. He sells the reputation tabard that does ineed work even in Wrath 5-man heroic dungeons. So if you're bored waiting for Cataclysm to arrive, you can always farm some 5-man heroics. You also get some nice JP to spend in the process.

Once you're exalted you can buy the Goblin Go Kart mount from the mount vendor Kall Worthaton in Orgrimmar.

i can confirm that handing in the items an enemy drops when you loot them does contribute to the bilgewater rep

About 2000 rep/wotlk heroic, without any rep buff.

Scholomance is good as well. Very easy for solo grinding or with group since extra people do not reduce the rep gained.

12 bosses (13th needing blood of the innocent to summon) x 60rep = 720 rep
Add to that all the packs that are very close to each other and easily pull in over 1200/run

Entire instance is very small so its fast to move through, get out, reset, and go again.

If you doing random Northend heroics and get Trial of Champions you will notice that you won`t get any reputation for killing bosses don`t worry you will get 900 after you kill Black Knight.

In Utgrade Keep Skarvald & Dalronn the Controller each gives 300 rep.

Event with Brann Bronzebeard in Halls of Stone don`t give any rep.

After doing some instance two even more times when i farm it i noticed that Drak'Tharon Keep gives more rep then any other dungeons,mainly because trash between King Dread and The Prophet Tharon'ja.

Done on PoS normal.

Kite the boss and kill all the enemies that spawn in the cave. When the healer has the brand, keep healing to always keep the boss at 100%. Each trash gives 15 rep. Took no less than an hour from Friendly 0% to Exalted.

It seems to me like it's easier to just run random LK heroics.
At least, it's easier and faster if you find a good tank.
The instances give you 2000+ a run and with a good tank it should only take a good 20-30 minutes for most.
Rather than running low level instances and getting 500-1000 rep a run that takes 20-30 minutes.

Dunno, just a quick tip.
Maybe it's just me. :P

overall it took me like 8hrs of doing randoms on my priest as a healer to get exalted with them, got like 2.2k of rep on each instance so it's faster

A lot of people have been talking about the fastest way to gain rep through dungeons. They're forgetting the funnest way, by far. Azshara. The quests near the Orgrimmar gates don't give any, but you will start getting it around the time you get to blow up naga.

So, dungeons faster(maybe), but boring. Questing in Azshara, more fun than you can handle!

If you still have your Banner of Provocation it's worth 300 rep every ten minuets, alongside whatever else you find in brd.
Might work out nicely to kill those bosses as you're queing up for heroics.

Going to Pit of Saron, going up to Tyrannus and then just have a tank keep him busy while a healer is healing the tank and the party. And the 3 dps just take down all of the mobs that come down trough the tunnel. We did this for a couple of hours and got from neutral to exalted in a little over 2 hours including resets, wipes, etc. We were doing about 10000 rep every 24 minutes or so. Average fights would last from 8 to 14 minutes before we'd reset or sometimes 2 minutes because someone would die...>.<

I just finished all the quests in thousand needles ended at 5325/6000 friendly. For those interested in getting quest achieves as well as rep its an ok start, you wont have to grind as many instances.

Edit* In Bambala by ZG there is a Goblin who will give you a quest to go to Hardwrench Hideaway for 250 rep. Here you will find another hub for Bilgewater quests. ^_^

Running Scholomance for reputation:

RFC has 4 bosses so with trash it gives 483 reputation / run. each run took me 6 min 30 sec as a hunter and I killed every mob in the place.
this means that you'll hit the "entered too many instances" - debuff pretty soon but this is ideal for a random farmer who just wants to give it some
30 min now and then.

On the other hand:

Scholomance has a stunning 13 bosses (!) that give 60 reputation each. that's 780 reputation per run from bosses alone. add 3 rep/trashmob into the calculation and you'll get a nice place to farm if you're REALLY into getting exalted fast.

So... I ran Scholomance killing only bosses and the trash that "got in between". Got 900 reputation per run as 1 run took me 11 min 6 sec. This includes stopping on every boss to loot it.

Full clear Scholomance (inc. non-elites that don't award rep) took 17 min 22 sec and gave 1203 reputation, meaning ~6 minutes longer than bossrun and 303 more reputation.

You will hit "too many instances" debuff anyway so in that case you might as well kill the trash too.

If you're exalted with other Horde factions, you'll also get this reputation if you're doing quests in Kalimdor and in EK. You get ~60rep per quests but it's still enough if you're going for quest achievements.

That is because the lore surrounding it is, yes, conflicting.

However, the actual quote for the second part goes:

Note the part that says IN-GAME representation. Lore-wise and out of game, the port is probably an actual port - but ingame, you only see one dock, definitely for design reasons (too much useless work if docks were implemented - docks you couldn't even go back and see, once you finished the zone!).

Actually, to all you lvl 80+ mount collectors, a nice way to farm for this rep to get your goblin mount -and a chance at another mount- is to farm Stratholme if you don't already have Rivendare's mount. :)
I'm getting about 3 or 4 rep per elite mob, only 1 per reg mob (and there are plenty of mobs in there), and 63 per bosses and rares.
It's not heroic so you can do it over and over again and it's big enough that I havent had the problem of entering too many instances yet fast enough that it doesn't feel like forever like BRD does... but I am a shadow priest and have to stop for mana so ppl who kill faster may have that problem, IDK.
BTW you do not get rep for any postmen so there's no point tampering with any mail.
As for looting, it helps to slow you down enough so you don't run into the lockout problem, but I honestly haven't tried it not looting (you get around 20g per run just with drops, which pays for whatever repairs and then some) so IDK how long it takes. If you're an enchanter and like to make a few extra gold, just loot the gear and DE and then AH it all.

finished up rep tonight at Scarlett Monastery and Scholomance. Got more points from killing almost EVERY thing in Scholo. I"d recommend you go there to finish up.

since i see that nobody has mentioned this then i figured i would.

Ive run about 6 different BC normal dungeons today and have gained about 3k in rep each, at about 45 mins apiece.

A few ive run ive noticed have also given me rep for other factions as well while wearing the tabard...

The best ive found so far is underbog, which gives sporegar, cenarian cirlce and bilgewater rep all at the same time, even the trash mobs...

Worst is Arcatraz. No bosses give bilge rep...

To get easy rep, i agree with farming it from Scholomance. Each kill get you 3 or 4 rep and each boss gives 63 rep, as long as you wear your tabard! I had 17.6k and ran this 3 times in a row. A quater through the fourth I got it. At lvl 85, it took me less than an hour just kill and loot, kill and loot. Don't stop to look for books. Spank and tank it. Easy fast rep and lots of loot to sell!
