This is just a guess, but I think once you hit exalted, you might get a dragon flying mount, like the Nether Drakes in Outlands, just a guess though.

Confirmed. Cielstrasza,the Wyrmrest Quartermaster sells Reins of the Red Drake for 2000g once Exalted with the Wyrmrest Accord. Reasonable price since you make almost double the money in Northrend as opposed to a few hours of Quel'Danas Quests.

A little thing I noticed was that in Coldara when you do quests for the people who don't look like their affliated with any faction, you get Wyrmest Accord rep. So that may help you get some extra rep.

Once you hit 80 and start running heroics, the rep goes much faster with tabard. You get 15 rep per elite trash mob and 250 rep for each boss kill. You also get 2 rep for killing non-elite trash, so I usually receive around 1500-2000 rep per heroic run in most dungeons.

There are four factions in WOTLK that you can gain rep with from wearing their tabard (purchased from the faction's quartermaster at friendly reputation) while doing level 80 instances. All the four factions have a few epic rewards, a bunch of blue ones, and two types of head enchants - one with resistance/stamina and one with stats (listed below). These four factions are as follows:

Kirin Tor - Spelldmg/Crit
The Wyrmrest Accord - Spelldmg/mp5
Knights of the Ebon Blade - AP/Crit
The Argent Crusade - Stam/Def

11180 rep from quest while playing Horde or ally. and you start as neutral.
so 3000 for neutral, 6000 for friendly, = 9000 - 11180 = -2180 so with all quest done you are in 2180 in honored. you still have a long trip to exalted.

Three Daily Quests (825 reputation):

Drake Hunt (275 reputation).
It's a quest to harpoon a drake in Coldara. It's a low level quest, so it won't appear as a "!" on the NPC, but it's from the same guy who gave it to you in the first place inside the shield.
Defending Wyrmrest Temple (275 reputation).
This one is at the temple itself and is given from an NPC on the second tier.
Aces High! (275 reputation).
This is done up top of the Nexus. One of the floating platforms has an NPC on it that'll give you this quest where you have to kill drakes flying around there.

This is one of five different factions which which you can gain reputation by killing things in level 80 dungeons. They all have solo daily quests that award substantial reputation...except for the Kirin Tor, which has only a small amount of solo repeatable reputation, and only if you have the trade skill.

As such, if you want reputation with the Kirin Tor, you should always wear its tabard when in a level 80 dungeon. The other reps...you can get without needing to put together a group.

Kirin Tor: 150 rep/day for cooking + 25 rep/day for jewelcrafting
Wyrmrest Accord: 750 rep/day (Dragonblight and Borean Tundra dailies)
Argent Crusade: 1100 rep/day with Icecrown and Zul'Drak dailies
Alliance Vanguard / Horde Expedition: 1163 / 1375 rep/day with Icecrown and Grizzly Hills dailies (includes 50% of the rep you get from the Valiance Expedition / Warsong Offensive daily quests)
Knights of the Ebon Blade: 1500 rep/day with Icecrown dailies, plus 10 rep repeatable non-daily

If you are an upstart Plate Tank, this is THE faction to get reputation with. at Revered you have access to 3 pieces of excellent defense rating blues:
Cloak of Peaceful Resolutions
Breastplate of Solemn Council
Sabatons of Draconic Vigor

these 3 pieces will last you well into naxx and are fairly easy to grind up.

I can't pick up the quest "defending Wyrmrest temple" I am "honored" with the Wyrmrest accord and can pick up and do the other 2 daily's. Has anyone else had this issue?

Best way to get rep with Wyrmrest Accord is

Do all the quests in coldarra (west in borean) + dailys

Do the quests in dragonblight in wyrmrest temple + dailys

After all the quests go to heroics (with the tabard) and complete the dailys every day :)

Easy as pie ;)

To make finding the quests I needed to pick up easier, I did a little filtering:

Sorted by Database > Quests > Northrend
-Increases reputation with... The Wyrmrest Accord
--and then sorted by required level so I know when I can pick up each quest as I level.

i didnt have the time or attention span to read through all comments to see if this question has already been asked, so ignore it if it has.

Why arent the nether drakes one of the "great dragons"? i mean the netherdrakes survive with hordes of demons surrounding them constently, one of the "great dragons" meets an old god for probly 2 minutes and goes insane and starts trying to screw up time . i mean im just sayin did the netherdrakes not get the memo about wyrmrest, do they not care?, is there some lore behind this?

It's true that they're strictly Outland born. It's also true that they are accidental creations because who really knows if Deathwing knew they'd be infused with the nether-energies when Draenor was blown up--incidentally, that was Ner'zhul's fault, as he was attempting to evac the planet of all remaining orcs through a bunch of different portals, effectively turning the planet into a screwed up version of an airport. Use magic much, Ner'zhul? >_<;;;

But you would think that with all of the people that have aided the faction since we were made conscious of their plight, and all of the mounts that have resulted as reward for our service to the group and are still flying around in some fashion or another, that they'd be able to make it through a portal to at least Dalaran. I mean, you have to figure that these mounts are not low-intelligence creatures and that they would object very strongly to hanging out in a floaty kind of dimension as they wait to be called upon for use. As they seem to take alternate forms of elves or in this case, a goblin, I think they'd probably hitch a ride every time you do (or maybe all of our dragon mounts follow us on a hijacked tundra mount). Where you go, they follow--how else do they get there so fast?

I can't imagine that with all of the traveling we do as players, our Netherwings wouldn't find out about the Wyrmrest Accord. They'd probably even join the cause. If a freaking black dragon can be an ambassador, why not a Netherwing?

Also, my Netherwing decided that she'd be a gnome because they eat less than an elf and are a lot better looking than a goblin. Chromie seems to take it all in stride.

Hitting Exalted with Wyrmrest is easy with the new LFG system and the 30% increase to rep.

I started at the beginning of friendly yesterday and did 7 random heroics with my tabard on. That got me all the way to revered. I also had around 40 emblems of triumph from running them, and had nothing else to spend them on so I spent them on rep. That got me to exalted. :)

Friendly to exalted in less than a day if you don't mind spending your badges of triumph.

As an interesting note, once you hit exalted status with this faction, the Protectors at the Wyrmrest Temple will sometimes say things when you enter.

So far I've gotten the following:

"It is an honor to have you among us, (name)."
"Take your much deserved rest in the peace of the temple, (name)."
"Welcome (name), dragonfriend."
"It is good to see you among us again, (name)."

There may be others, but I haven't gotten them yet.

In some new patch (3.3.5) theres a instance underneath called something like The Ruby Sanctum where you fight Halion, a twilight dragon and it all takes place under Wyrmrest Temple.

OK its very simple, if you are already geared up in your T9 gear just run some dungeons, go to a emblem of triumph vendor, and buy badges for 520 rep each. This, plus dailies and dungeons can get you there in 1 day minimum depending on how many dungeons you do.

A very easy way to get exalted with these guys as an 85 with an excess of justice points is to visit the emblem of triumph vendor where 500 rep with most Northrend factions is sold for only 16 JP.

Also you can convert Justice Points to Wyrmrest Reputation in Dalaran. If you havent Justice Points, you can convert your Honor Points to Justice Points in Orgrimmar/Stormwind Quartermaster.

I have question...I have a level 82 Warlock and she does Enchanting.. Does the Tabard work in the Cata Dungeons as well as the 80 Dungeons? I'm pretty sure she cant do the 80 dungeons herself..I am wanting to get the Bag recipe and the Drake.. Thanks
