If you always keep a fishing pole in your inventory, and also carry the deepdive helmet with you, the fishing pole from the Kalu'ak could replace both of those items, hence, you'd get a free bag slot.

I find it strange that all the reputation items (with the exception of the fishing rod, mini pet and patterns) require level 75-78 to use. This is a faction primarily placed in the starting zones with around 15000 rep available through quests in Howling Fjord and Borean Tundra alone (not counting dailies).

After completing ALL of the quests available (through all of the chains) for all 3 quest areas, I was slightly into revered. So it looks like its 12-13 more days of straight dailies afterwards to finish.

As webtekkie mentions, dailies look to be the only way to finish the rep off to exalted. There is no tabard for this faction so you cannot grind instances to earn the rep more quickly.

For Horde:

I have done all the quests before doing the dailies it got me to 2760/21000 into Revered rep. Therefore if 3 dailies is 1500 rep per day, it takes you 12 days to get this to Exalted after you have done all the quests in the 3 Areas.

Sad thing is, it's easy to get revered with Kalu'ak at lvl 72, but the items are only available to lvl 76 and up. I was pretty disappointed yesterday when I dinged revered and wanted to go buy my Totemic Purification Rod and Pigment-Stained Robes. :(

Luckily the fishing pole & pet - the REAL awesome rewards - only requires lvl 70 :]

I finished all quests in Kaskala, Kamagua and Moa’ki Harbor. At least I think so, I took the quests I could and did all the sequels. I want to become reward for the polearm, I'm half-way to revered. Where can I get further reputation?
Would be nice if someone could answer this fast.
Edit: I took a look at the quest list and I have only done like 5 quests in Howling Fjord but I can see that there are more, after I did the 5 quests I couldn't take any more in Kamagua. How, where can I get access to more quests?

Once you've done all the quests you should be 4440/21000 as Horde and 1990/21000 as Alliance in on revered (4289/21000 as Human).
Note: There are 22 quests for Horde and 17 quests for Alliance in Borean Tundra (11700 rep for horde and 9200 for alliance), 19 for Alliance and 18 for Horde in Howling Fjord (7870 rep for alliance and 7820 for horde), 11 in Dragonblight for both factions (5920 rep).
Additional note: The quests range from level 68-71.

To reach exalted from here on, you will have to do the daily quests. It will take you 14 days as Alliance (12 days as Human due to Diplomacy) and 13 days as Horde. There is no other way to gain reputation with the Kalu'ak.

The daily quests will grant you 500 reputation each, there are 3 daily quests:
Borean Tundra - Preparing for the Worst (68)
Howling Fjord - The Way to His Heart... (69)
Dragonblight - Planning for the Future (71)

Just to add this in here since i had trouble with it :D

In order to get the third daily in which you bring two of the sea creatures together with fish, you need to go south in howling fjord to the pirate cove. The quest there called Swabbin' Soap that you need to pick up is from a little gnome mage named Scuttle Frostprow on one of the ships that has you find and kill big roy, a giant sea creature and bring his blubber back to make soap. there is no connecting quest however, you simply need to do this quest and then go back to the kalu'ak villiage to pick up the third daily. Hope this helps :D

For the level 80s who are looking to increase their reputation with this faction.. Do not forget to turn on "Track Low Level Quests". It took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure this out, I kept running to different quest hubs for these guys not seeing quests, since I was too high level for them.

IMO, it would be nice if Blizz add the epic Battle turtle mount as the buying option in this faction (exalted of course). Tuskarrs look so silly on these) So i'd deffinitely buy one if i could.

PS: as the addition it could be the first swimming mount :P (may be no so fast ~40% or so, but it would be worth of it)

So just to throw this out there, my thoughts on where they came up with the name I believe is from a combination of 2 Alice in Wonderland references. One is obviously the Walrus and the Carpenter. The other is from the poem the Jabberwocky, which has in it

I strongly suggest getting reputation for this faction. The rewards are awesome as the fishing pole gives you an increase on your fishing skill. Also, the pet you can obtain for getting exalted with The Kalu'ak, known as Pengu is pretty cool looking.:)

Note though that there is only 3 dailies for this faction, but if you do em everyday, you will gain exalted status rather quickly.:)

As a side note, most of the baskets respawn almost instantly, you can normally do the daily in about 5 minutes between 3 spawns just south of the quest giver.

To make finding the quests I needed to pick up easier, I did a little filtering:

Sorted by Database > Quests > Northrend
-Increases reputation with... The Kalu'ak
--and then sorted by required level so I know when I can pick up each quest as I level.

Just an auctioneer's side note.
The merchant questgiver in a tent at the scawalag point sells the blue version of the Blood Elf starting zone No-Level-Req, None-Boe staff.
The original staff and the leather "Sun Cured" set sell for 10g a piece on the neutral Auction House, if you're a horde.
The blue staff, sold for 20-30g (bought for 56 copper) when I listed them on the neutral AH.
So if you're an auction-addict making money of simple things, buy a score of that staff and list at the neutral AH. It's Vanity value is not even open to debate.

If you are Alliance and you're 20960/21000 to exalted I have a suggestion. First to be in this situation you will have to of missed at least two (and probably the only two) walrus people quest (I prefer that to Kalu'ak...):

While you can do nothing about Orfus of Kamagua (which would of given you just over the right amount of rep you'd need to get to exalted) if you already did the chain, Cruelty of the Kvaldir is an overlooked quest since the NPC is not always there. I was in this very situation, frustrated that I didn't do the "Orfus of Kamagua" quest thinking I'd have to wait another day. While overlooking the list of quests, I found "Cruelty of the Kvaldir" which did not sound like a familiar quest. Sure enough, I hadn't done that quest yet. I'm hoping that by posting this, I'll be able to save some people a little frustration and an extra day by mentioning this quest. It's very situational, but for those looking through comments for assistance, it could be helpful. :)

kaskalas under constant attack, so it cant be theyre main settlement...
its either moa'ki or kamagua, seeing as moa'ki's the biggest and kamagua has the quartermaster
the page doesnt even mention unu'pe

and it says theyre under attack by kvaldir and "gurlocs"... I beleive its spelled "gorloc" , and they're not under attack by them anyway.

A quick tip for when doing the dailies. Although the turtle ferry looks neat it isn't the most productive way to travel. Epic flying mounts out run it and the flight paths are quite a bit faster as well (not to mention you don't have to wait for its arrival). So if you are feeling lazy and don't want to spend the money then by all means take the turtle ferry!

I noticed a few places that once you've done all the regular quests for Kalu'ak, you should be about 2000 rep into Revered.. However I am only 3.500 in Honored, and I cannot find any more quests in any of the camps..

Does anyone know of quests that I might have overlooked?
I have been to all the 3 of the camps, and there is no available quests.
I've done the daily quest in Harbor (Dragonblight), the other 2 dailies are not yet available to me.

I did all their quests (plus having the first Guild Perk for 5% increase in rep) and I ended up being 7,336/21,000. My strategy is to do the dailies until I am 80, then I'll probably end it.

i just went and did all the quests i could for the Kalu'ak faction; all of Borean Tundra, Dragonblight, Howling Fjord and the 3 daily quests as a Horde (76 Blood Elf Paladin). I now have 7886/21,000 into Revered.

each daily give 550 rep, so it should only take another 8 days to get to exalted by bringing in 1650 rep/day with daily quests.

Cant wait for my penguin :) good luck to the rest of you! :)

I think it might be a bit more useful for people to post something regarding the people that start the questlines. At least to me, it doesn't seem that they flow from one to the next. Wowhead's listing doesn't do much in that regards, and nor should it. I would just like to know the starter for each area.

I had the same problem, so here's what I found: From the landing-site with the Kalu'Ak (Unu'pe), follow the coast west by north-west until you reach Kaskala, you'll see more Tuskarr fighting with the vikings (whatever their name is). The quest-giver is around 64,45 (that's an estimate).
