In order to get your Cenarion War Hippogryph, you need to reach the Exalted status with cenarion expedition, and then buy it from the Quartermaster in the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmash.

Love my gryph, and especially love knowing it irks alliance players when we can ride one of their mounts. Must feel the same for any ally-pally lucky enough to get the horse drop in Stratholme.

- reach Exalted with Cenarion... easy, since SP is one of the easiest heroics
- pay 1600gold

if you REALLY REALLY like it go ahead and buy it. Keep in mind that you can buy 4 epic flying mounts with those golds.

Conclusion: probably the most expensive achievement. :)

Note that if you are level 80, you don't need to go back to BC instances to get to exalted. The Borean Tundra quest "Can't get Ear-nough" - https://www.wowhead.com/cata/quest=11867 is a repeatable turn-in quest good for 150 Cenarion Expedition rep a pop.

Mind you, Just to get from revered to exalted would take 140 turn-ins... So I only recommend this if you are decently close to exalted.

When doing all the Zangarmarsh quests as well as instances it should bring you to about halfway in honored.

I really do not think repeating "Can't get Ear-nough" is the most effecient way to reach exalted. As others have stated it's fine if you're close to exalted, otherwise it is better to farm instances.

On my 80 Prot Paladin I went from 2k into revered (from BC instance runs and questing in Zangar and all the Borean quests) to 1000/1000 exalted in about 6 hours of farming The Steamvault. Just killing every mob in the place and turning in Coilfang armaments.

Made about 500g doing it, although it is worthless for Netherweave as the Naga do not seem to drop any.

I just think it's better to clear the instances than to do the quest over and over. :)
If you DO want to quest and not run the instances, killing the Minions of Kaw near Kaws roost is your best bet. There is about 8 of them, and they respawn nearly instantly after death.

i got this achivement a week ago it takes about 1 full day of farming steam vaults to get enough armanents,most of the rep ur gona get is from killin mobs, i just killed up to the first boss then reset and did again god about 80 armanents in 3 hours

For some reason this achievement is obtained when you buy the mount, as opposed to actually learning it. Not that it should make any difference since you can't refund the bird, just throwing this out there.

After about 6 solid hours of farming Steam Vaults. I finally got it. It's not to hard to do at all at 13 rep per mob, and 79 per armament turn-in. Was very worth my time!

I got this achievement very easy by simply doing all dungeons in Zangarmash once in HC and the next day I only did Steam vault Heroic and of course looting the nagas for Coilfang armaments which given me an average of 85 rep per hand in (Guild perk additions included) and I bought the Mount :)

(I also got the 20 exalted reputations achievement)

What would help is, doing the Quests in Zangarmash would get you to revered or 10K/12K honored rep with Cenarion Expedition, Hint: this mount is included on the Mountain o' Mounts achievement! (I got 65 now!) Good luck :)
