Lol good luck with this. Oddly enough i pulled this off literally last night. First time in 2 years have i ever seen it done. incredibly rare to see happen post 60 however have heard it being done in the 59's

The difficulty with this one in my experience is not with keeping your own assets, but with getting all four towers before the enemy's reinforcement count hits zero. Not requiring the last two towers, or only one of them, would be a welcome change.

We managed to do that achievement today with a group of ~20 people using preform AB enabler.

My suggestions :

6-7 people including a couple healers rush the 2 Dun Baldar towers and wait 5 minutes for them to be destroyed.

The other players make sure Galvagar stay alive and should be enough to block alliance from capturing any tower.

DON'T kill Balinda ever or the alliance will run out of points before you can destroy the 4 towers.

Once the 2 north towers are down , the 6-7 people go suicide in Vandar room or recall back to the base.

Then focus on the 2 remaining towers while keeping yours alive.

Make sure none of your towers are under attack when you win or you won't recieve the achievement.

The safest way is to keep at least 2/3 players in every horde towers once you destroyed the alliance ones and then wait for the win.

This achievement basically means your raid cant kill balinda/galv or the other team will run out of reinforcements,unless the other team is at a server player disadvantage

I just did this Achievement with a Premade.
Setup :
Group 1-6 : Just random
Group 7-8 : Rogue + Druids

Tactic :
Group 1-6 : Defend galv in the first minutes of the game. After that split up ( Group 1-2 hang between IB tower and IB gy, Group 3-4 stay at galv, Group 5-6 recap FW and other towers )
Group 7 : First grab IW bunker, stay there till its destroyed. After that go DB South Bunker
Group 8 : Frist grab SH bunker, stay there till its destroyed. After that go DB North Bunker

We did it in one try.
This tactic is for the HORDE.

Just now we I almost did it when the raid didnt want to w8 for N/S Dun Baldar bunkers to be owned, instead they went to vanndar and killed him LITERALLY 3 second beforre the cap of both bunkers.....

I got this in my second AV ever. Before this, horde's last victory was in 2008, or so at least people told me.

Somehow managed to get this achievement on my DK.Pure PuG AV.Hell I didn't even know we were going for it.

We just sort of rolled over the Alliance and continued to stomp them over and over every time we met them.Of course, we usually used to win when numbers were even.Now with games not starting until 40 on both sides, I think a lot more Horde on my battlgroup will be getting this.

This Achievement is somewhat strange.

I have been playing an AV game that took quite a long time to complete and when it ended for reinforcements victory I saw one of my raidmates getting it.

My guess would be this one behaves like time completion achievements for others battleground, meaning it only considers if you win AFTER you've joined and the towers and the captains have already been killed.

Would really like to know or if anybody can hand out some help on this, since I was quite disappointed by seeing it happen.

This seems to have changed. Either it's bugged or intentional, but this achievement seems to be being awarded if you only have Galvangar alive, regardless of if you have destroyed all their towers or you own all of yours. Had this awarded to people with 2 of their towers still alive, 2 of our bunkers burned and only Galvangar alive.

I strongly recommend everyone who wants to do it-do it before you reach level 85.Since its very hard to kill Captains,simply just make sure you keep those towers up. Good luck :)

I met all the criteria for this achievement yesterday. We won the Alterac Valley by killing Vanndar, Galvangar was alive, North- and Southbunker were tapped, Stonehearth and Icewing destroyed. Yet I didn't get the achievement. I demand justice. I wrote a ticket and I'm going to make a drama about it. I have 150 AV wins now.

BY FAR the hardest part of this achievement is finding 39 other people willing to do it right.

Honestly I wish Blizzard would remove this from the meta, if they're not going to provide a way to queue a premade 40-member group. On a few occasions in a random BG we've been close enough to get this if people would hold off on killing the other side for a minute or so (so as not to run out of reinforcements before destroying a final tower or two), and nobody listens. In fact they mock me for caring about it.

I've seen several people get this achievement undeservedly in non-qualifying matches. It makes me wonder what proportion of people who have it got it fairly.

Not really; after a few days of attempts I queued with a friend of mine today (38 people random), we got a fail-alliance group (saying this because we managed to beat them even where we were outnumbered) and a good horde group, for once willing to listen, also.

Usual tactic, defended at galvangar at start; after a few alliance wipes, 1-2 of us always kept an eye on galvangar while a few groups were going to take back our towers\graveyards; a few went north to take bunkers and defended them till actually we got them.

They tried to come again to galvangar when they had lost all of their towers, so we formed a big group and wiped them again; we had like 520 reinforcements when alliance had around 100, we were temped to go kill balinda, but feared they might have killed galvangar fast (not even 4 millions hp), so we didn't risk, and kept farming them in the field of strife.

They probably tried to ruin our achievement, assaulting Tower Point when they had around 15 reinforcements, because if we hadn't defended it before they reached 0, we'd have failed.

The game ended around 500 to 0 reinforcements, so the answer is: "Yes, this achievement is still possible at 85 in random groups, just need the right circumstances and a few people reporting incoming assaults".

Been farming AV for weeks now. Had to complete 100 victories and now this is the only achivement I'm missing for Battlemaster. It is so frustrating to que AV again and again and see people not even trying to get it just saying "lose fast please"

I get this achievment yesterday with a 27 or 28 man premade from US-Ragnaros with the addon "Preform AV Enabler"
Who we do this:
At start:
1) Send 15 to defend Glav.
2) Send 4 dps (2 rogues 2 ferals) to defend West tower in our base.
3) Send 1 tank and 1 healer to defend East tower in our base.
4) Send 6 people with all the non-premade guys to cap DBN an DBS.
Before defend Galv we let 3 dps and 2 healers with Glav and send 5 (2 healers 1 tank) to Bloodice and 5 (2 healer 1 tank) to Point Tower and defend it (we have to backcap Point toweer and that was the hardest part cause there was like 12 allys there).
When left around 1.5 minutes to cap DBN and DBS we cap all gys in the middle and south part, so allys spawn in their start camp.
When we cap DBN abd DBS we send the 10 people who was in there to cap the 2 missing towers (one by one).
When we cap the 4 allys tower we send 1 dps and 1 healer to kill Ballinda and we have again 10 peoples in Glav and 5 in each base (Point Tower and Bloodice). Allys try to attack or Bloodice or Glav but we wipe they like 3 times.
When we kill Balind we left like 40 resources to win and just stay there defending towers and killing allys one by one.
Maybe if we have controlled both mines we just need to kill Ballinda to win.
