Getting Stormpike Battle Charger doesn't count as this Achievement, but it counts as Stormpike Battle Charger (Achievement).

Are the mounts for this achievement returnable? As in, do I get the achievement for purchasing the mount, or learning it so i can actually ride it? Because if its just the purchasing then I could return the mount for the 30 marks of each and do the Concerted Efforts (https://www.wowhead.com/cata/quest=13478) for a nice amount of honor as well

These mounts are returnable, but you have to learn it for the achievement.

In 3.3.3 the mounts will cost 50k honor each. No marks required!

Since getting 50k honor at level 40 (epic mount skill) can be hard/impossible/tedious the "easier" way to get the mount in 3.3.3 for level 40 and up is to have these things:

Northend character(s) with total of
-750 Stone Keeper's Shards (188 heroic dungeon boss kills if you dont do weeklies)
-or 225 Wintergrasp Mark of Honor (225 WG losses or 75 wins)
=
to get 25 x Wintergrasp Commendation = 50k honor

If you are level 51+ with no access to such numbers of Shards/marks or no "northend toon", now is the last times to get 30 marks each and get the mount you want because in patch getting the mount can take either ages or being level 80 battlegrounds for fast honor.
Patch is here, now its "honor grind" only. 90 BG marks will give you only 16650 honor thro mark turnins (185 honor per mark)

Note: Honor gain is increased in 3.3.3 so it might help.

How can I achieve this if you need mounts from Horde and Ally?
Or do you just need all the ones from youe faction and youll get the achievement?

On the alliance, post-cataclysm side it can be obtained from Lieutenant Karter in Old Town of Stormwind right outside Champions Hall. You can get any of these mounts from her to obtain the achievement:

- Black Battlestrider
- Black War Ram
- Black War Steed Bridle
- Reins of the Black War Tiger
- Reins of the Black War Elekk

Currently, they each cost 2000 honor.

Let's say you wanna buy this on a lvl 40- and you cant use it. If you buy it and you DONT use it you still get achievement?
