Adds killed by the gravity well appear to neither count for the achievement nor trigger it's timer to start.

We just did this. Our warrior tank opened all cd's, and I used the tree form and spammed regrowth, 2 warlocks and a hunter aoed all adds. We died after we get the achi. You have to aggro boss before killing any add. Its very important. There are 60 adds.

if you have a mage, can be made easier using Ring of Frost. just pull them all into it, freeze them, pull the boss, aoe and kill

Had a pali bubble me and ran in and agroed the boss. Then proceeded to kill all the adds , got the achive then finished off the boss.

Just as a note, it might be a good idea to have someone with a non-channeled AoE keep the boss targeted to interrupt the first Force Grip. Even though the mobs have ~16k hp, one dead dps (or God forbid, tank) can screw up your timing.

Did this yesterday as an arms warrior. Tank aggro'd the boss (and all the adds ofc), I hit sweeping strikes and bladestorm. After three seconds i died with 73k dps 0.o

Tank ran in, engaged boss, pulled all the adds.

@#$%ing gravity well instant spawned, killed a dozen Disciples right on the $%^&ing boss pull.

Anybody else have a problem with failing this on the first attempt and not having the adds respawn? We've tried resetting the instance and everything with no luck. Surprised no one else seems to have run into this problem yet.

Was doing achievements with some buddies earlier and we accidentally aggro'd the adds without the boss and kill them, so we just moved to the next heroic without killing her.

I went back about an hour later (I'm a hunter) and noticed that they add respawned. I sent my pet in, Aggro'd her, and started to AoE the adds; but they killed my pet in a heartbeat. But I had a stroke of good fortune when she used the gravity well, which killed the adds AND got me credit for the achievement. It would seem the ones killed in the vortex now count. So good luck all.
