This achievement involves you going through the entire ice tunnel before the 3rd boss without your entire party getting hit by ANY of the falling icicles.

You can see where they are about to fall because a blue circle will appear ~5 seconds before it comes down, similar to Hodir.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PROJECTED TEXTURES TURNED ON, OR YOU WON'T SEE THE BLUE CIRCLES

Here's an easy way to do it:

Have the tank grab everything and drag it to the middle of the tunnel, onto the circular metal platform (where the revenant is). No one heal or DPS or buff until you get to the platform. AoE everything down, then start moving again, this time to the end of the tunnel. AoE everything down again.

Very easy achievement, you can see where the icicles are droping. Just like hodir, they leave blue AoE marks on floor, simply move out of there.

No need to rush to middle risking a wipe.

If this requires you to do on your first try, shouldn't it be like in Feats of Strength? Because it will be impossible to the other guys that didnt get this on their first time.

Got this last night in a guild run of Pit of Saron. Didn't even TRY to get it, we just did the gauntlet, and were greeted with this.

The group was caster heavy, and I wasn't sure if my healer could handle healing it, so I opted to take a "slow and steady" approach instead of the "run through, get to the middle, then AoE it down" strategy. I made sure everyone in my party knew to get away from the blue circles when they see them (You don't need projected textures to see these circles, I normally put all my settings on low so I can tank without lag) We ran to each group, burned them down, and moved to the next. By the time we reached the middle, I let everyone know we would be safe from icicles for the time being.

During the last half of the gauntlet, I instead constantly walked backwards, gathering up the enemies stopping every 5 seconds or so to let our moonkin and mage AoE. Its a surprisingly easy achievement, you just need to make sure that everyone is constantly aware of their surroundings. Good luck to all who attempt this!

Just got this in a random group. Good bunch. We used the run to safe spot then AoE.....then run to the end of tunnel and AoE again approach.

Actually I rarely run in to really bad groups these days.....

though was one amazingly bad one the other day....lol....and it was in the easiest heroic of all, UK.....but I'll spare ya the details...

I obtained this achievement with a pug. I saw the Icicle had done damage to a warlock pet, yet we earned the achievement; therefore, I can confirm that pets getting hit does NOT negate the achievement.

Just got this achievement, perhaps through a bug: we got through the whole gauntlet, then wiped on the other side from the adds following us. Shammy ankhed, rezzed. At this point, rather than engage the boss and risk it bugging out on us, we killed the 2 mobs guarding the entrance (exit) to the tunnel. As soon as we killed those 2 mobs, we got the achievement. Now, I'm not sure if it was that nobody got hit by the icicles when we actually did run through, which would be all right, or if it was just that nobody got hit by the icicles after we wiped, which would be a bug.

Soloed this as a fire mage (level 85, ilevel 366). I just ran through the tunnel (healing potion, blink and mirror images help) without getting hit by the icicles. Used invis when I ran out of the tunnel and just let all the mobs reset. Then I killed the 2 skeletons guarding the entrance (you can pull them one after the other) and got the achievement.

Easily solo'd on my hunter. Pets getting hit don't cause the achievement to fail. Just did is slow, killing the mobs while avoiding the icicles. Also I noticed that if you are hit, you can exit the cave and start over again.

Was able to solo this with Feral Druid (ilvl 397) just ran through tunnel pulling all trash mobs to the end and avoided the ice. Achievement doesn't happen til all trash is dead, no need to kill boss afterwards.
