This is indeed a pain. Be very cautious and stick with a group. note that you do not need to use a single glaive thrower, just survive. Therefore escaping just before your vehicle is destroyed is a good tactic, as it gives you more time to escape. One of the hardest Isle of the Storm achievements i think

actually its quite easy when you are about to die /afk right before you die and your achievment will not be reset.

I actually got this on my first try, just defended the docks. Rather easy achievement.

I also found this one quite easy. Just sneak up to the fortress from the sides and then let destruction rain upon the enemies' heads sitting unwarily at their fortress's tower canons. They have verly low life and will die in seconds since the volley deals massive amounts of damage.

It may be a bug, but as of 7th August 2009, the "kills" are actually just any honor kills. Grab a Glaive Thrower, drive up to the enemy base but sit behind a rock so they can't hit you with a cannon, and whenever a member of your team kills someone (and you get the "Honor Kill" message show up), you'll get credit for it.

I thought this was going to be the hardest achievement in the BG, but it's actually one of the easiest.

they have now changed it, it is indeed honourable kills, making this ridiculously easy now :P

Unfortunately the worst part about this achievement is the amount of abuse you will receive from your fellow hordies/allies.

Be prepared to put up with calls such as, 'WTF NOOB L2USETHEGLAIVETHROWER', and 'ZOMG DONT TAKE THE GLAIVE IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO USE IT'

These things can deal over 10k damage to a player if you get a good hit in. Sniping people from some range (casters are especially easy) can easily net you multiple kills while working your way towards their base. Not saying it should be used for killing players, but might as well shoot someone if you see them.

This can be done over multiple battle grounds. If you don't die, you carry over the kills. I got this achieve doing 4 in one BG, then 3, then 3 more. Any death resets it though, be careful.

i'm having a rough time with this one as horde almost never takes docks these days. and usually when we do manage to take it. most of the alliance forces have already pushed into our base leaving not one around to kill :(

Can be spread out over several IoC's - Just don't die, or /afk out when you're about to, if you really badly want to finish this..
