Though it does not count toward the achievement you can still extinguish it.

The horde one in swamp of sorrows is now at 77 14 which is the opposite side of the village of bogpaddle as the alliance one

i'm trying to complete this for my goblin hunter, the burning steppes fires phase away from me as soon as i approach, has anyone else had this? i'm guessing its because of the questline done in burning steppes since cata changes

I found the fire for horde in burning steppes, but when i move towards it away from flame crest it disappears. I imagine it is a phase change because I've done most of the quests in the zone for loremaster.

This is my list with the order of which I would have used it if the starting point had been from UC/Silvermoon. Flying mount was used, so the same route won't be eligible for lowbies. The list consists of both Horde and Alliance flames in the zones flying through Eastern Kingdoms. All the points weren't required for the achievement as I was only after the flowers for the pet. As an achievement ^&*!@ I have completed loremaster before cata and did all of the quests in the new zones to try and find which ones I liked for alts.

However, during this event I am experiencing a phasing issue in Hillsbrad Foothills(horde).

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Ashenvale is not at above listed places. Or I missed the updated info. Either way, the Horde one is just on east side of Silverwind Refuge 51,66

I have not found Allied one yet. :-(

Current as of patch 4.1

I assume a few things in recommending this route to you

1.) You are Horde
2.) You Have Epic flying/Riding

E = Desicrate/Extinguish Flame
H = Honor Flame
FP = Flight Path
WPL = Western Plaguelands
SW = Stormwind
STV = Stranglethorn Vale

This is the way I did it on my toons if you have ideas
on how to make this easier by all means comment below.

Start Orgrimmar

Take the Zepplin to Undercity

Use the orb of translocation to Silvermoon City

Head out the Silvermoon front gate and west along the wall untill
you run into the Fire Festival Tent (H)

Head back to Silvermoon FP and fly to Tranquillien (H) or ride south
into The Ghostlands if you don't have the FP.

Fly back to Silvermoon City.

Use the Orb of Translocation to get back to Undercity

Head a little to the north to Brill, Tirisfal Glades (H)

Head southwest of The Undercity to The Sepulcher, Silverpine Forest (H)

Fly east south east into Tarren Mill, Hillsbrad Foothills (H)

Fly north toward Strahnbrad into WPL Stop in at Chillwind Camp,
Weastern Plaguelands (E)

Continue by flying south east to Aerie Peak, The Hinterlands (E)

Fly east accros the zone to Revantusk Village, The Hinterlands (H)

Flying south west head to Hammerfall, Arathi Highlands (H)

Shoot west accross the zone to Refuge Point, Arathi Highlands (E)

Fly south west to Menethil Harbor, The Wetlands (E)

Continue south into Ironforge...
Fly in the front gate through to the Hall of Explorers, avoid going
through tinker town too much aggro Capture the flame

I assume you died and spirit rezed at Kharanos, Dun Morogh (E) grab
the flame and be on your way.

East to Thelsamar, Loch Modan (E)

Fly south to New Kargath, Badlands (H)

Continue flying south to Flame Crest, Burning Steppes (H)

Fly south East to Morgan's Vigil, Burning Steppes (E)

Fly south into Redridge Mountains to the Lakeshire FP (E)

Now fly south west to Darkshire, Duskwood (E)

Do a 180 and head east to Bogpaddle, Swamp of Sorrows two to get here
(E & H)

Fly south to Nethergarde Keep, Blasted Lands (E)

At this point I said screw, I flew west over to Dreadmaul Hold,
Blasted Lands and caught a windrider to Booty Bay, STV and went to
grab a drink and stuff. Why not do the dame ? =P

Arrive Booty Bay, The Cape of Stranglethorn
head over to the beach with all the pirates to the east and grab two
side by side fires (H & E)

Head north to Fort Livingston, Northern Stranglethorn (E)

Fly north west over to Grom'gol Base Came, Northern Stranglethorn (H)

Fly north to Moonbrook, Westfall (E)

Continue flying north east to Goldshire, Elwynn Forest (E)

Now you should just have Stormwind left. It's super easy to get to.
Start by flying Super high above SW. Low enough to see, but not so
low that the flying guards rape you. Locate the Fire between The Mage
Quarter and the little square building on your map (SW Stockade). Dive
bomb in get your flame. You should be able to escape into the canal
toward the crater next to SW harbor.

Hearth!

You should now have the following Achievements:

Flame Keeper of Eastern Kingdoms
Extinguishing Eastern Kingdoms
