This quest has an amusing end. When I ran it, the chicken says it is going to turn on its cloaking device but instead rockets into the air. Here is video if you want to see it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GQLEsFetRYc

As you receive this quest in Feralas, this does count toward the Feralas quest achievement, even though you have to travel to Booty Bay for the quest hand in.
This was my last quest for this zone.

For those trying to hunt down:

Balise de détresse OOX-09/HL from The Hinterlands (Personal stats: Killed some stalkers, some trolls, some owlbeasts (about 20 all told)... Then killed my first ooze at Skulk Rock, and it dropped)
Balise de détresse OOX-17/TN from Tanaris (Personal stats: Went into Zul'Farrak like all other posters recommend, killed some twenty or thirty trolls and scarabs, and it dropped from one of the troll corpses)
Balise de détresse OOX-22/FE from Feralas (Personal stats: As recommended by many other posters, Feral Scar Yetis - dropped on my first kill)

Only available if you have not already completed the quest.
Yes these still drop in Mists of Pandaria.
Yes it can drop off ANY mob in the respective zone, however Balise de détresse OOX-22/FE has the highest drop rate from Yéti Griffe farouche IF you haven't already done the quest.
It WILL eventually drop - some days RNG is your best friend, other days you want to repeatedly punch a kitten (or other obscenely fluffy creature) just to illustrate how cruel the universe can be.

You cannot turn in this quest while Hated in Booty Bay

I did this quest and got the complete but unfortunately I was lazy and abandoned it since I didn't feel like traveling all the way to booty bay to turn in. Later I find out that I can get a pet if I do all three, since I did the Tanaris and Hinterlands OOX quests, I wanted to complete Rescue OOX-22/FE again but I can't find another distress beacon and the chicken doesn't have a quest to give anymore. Can someone please help me out here?
