VERY rare drop from any/all mobs in ZF. +15 INT is huge for the level, but the -10 STA makes this of questionable value.

I would use this any day now with my holy paly since atm i have +219 healing 14 spell crit and 132 mp5 with improved bow but i luck mana pool 2890 at 44 lvl , so this ring is more than welcome the int is awesome and the mana regen rocks. :D

I do suppose, if you're a caster, you should be doing anything to get far away from your enemies, and if they reach you, and nova, blink, or whatever, is on cooldown, well, your will die. i guess thats how it works :P

I mean, a caster is meant to PEW PEW from a long distance, but if they reach you, you die :P

I scan the auction house really regularly, and auctioneer collects statistics on how often it sees items. This is among the most rare items I have seen. Over the last four and a half years (since I last reset my data), I've seen this ring only 8 times, including the one I just bought. Of course I don't see the ones that are kept rather than sold, or the ones that are posted and snatched up before I have a chance to see them, but that's true for most items. It only occasionally drops from a Rare Elite in Zul'Farrak, so if you're looking on the auction house, it's crazy rare.

BTW, before the Cataclysm this used to be:
-10 Stamina
+15 Intellect
+5 Spirit
Requires Level 43
Item Level 48

I don't know why an above poster said it would be good for MC or BWL. Pre-epic, most "int &*!@#s" will be wearing two Seals of Rivendare, which has 17 intellect and 7 spirit without sacrificing 10 stamina. The Band of Sulfuras is the only ring that has more intellect than the Seal of Rivendare, and it's unique, and just a tad harder to farm for than the Seal of Rivendare :)

just bought it on wisperwind on the alliance side for 20g.but i havnt seen him on both side for ages.so i wonder if its worth to sell for 80g?

I'm finding it very funny that you guys keep saying this ring is dumb and not worth a lick etc. This ring is awsome for poor priests with higher level friends. HP doesn't matter in PVP if your in your bubble healing. Mana is important for the priests. So if you feel you shouldn't even bother to pick it up then send it to my priest, and for heaven's sake, "Learn to spell." I've seen 8 year olds that have a better vocabulary than you people. No wonder it's such a pain to go pick up blues for priests with morons afoot.

Ok I hear people saying "teh oh em gee 100 health could win or lose the battle for you." The truth is, if you're a cloth user, you'll have so little armor people are going to be hitting you for 350+ by the time you get this ring, so 100 is going to be trivial. The key is to not let them hit you in the first place. That's the whole reason priests have bubble, warlocks and priests have fear, mages of polymorph and frostnova, and any other form of crowd control.

And who cares about on death in BG? If you win a fight with 100 health left (since you aren't wearing the ring obviously the 100 health saved you) you are going to die in 2 seconds anyway.

All in all, 150 intellect is worth losing 100 health over if you're a caster.

A cloth user could still kill you quite easy even when they have low hp but any mage or priest thats oom are an easy target for any class.

Anyone who says priests/mages/locks arent any good at pvp have no idea. Lets see what a warrior is gonna do when they are running away b/c of fear, or frozen in place and getting blasted with spells or how about when a shadow priest uses VE and is gaining life as they do shadow dmg then bubbles and heals when they get low. This ring is fine for any caster, especially priests who can bubble to compensate for the Sta loss.

i tried to force a +3 stam to bracer free enchant on him, but he refused =/

i dont see the point of -stats on items, i mean seriously blizz, wtf?

Thing is, you're not trading 10 stam for 15 int, you're trading 10 stam for about 3 int.
