Definitely stock up at least 60 of these, (you can carry a maximum of 20 potions) before you port back up to Acherus because once you leave there is no way to turn them in later.

Confirmed. I just came back to see my trainer at level 60, and thought "Hmm I might grab one of them Undead Gryphons to pop downstairs to turn in these 40 skulls I got left". - No dice.

Once you finish your Deathknight class quests, you will be level 58 and officially promoted to "Deathknight", the whole deal changes. You cannot go down to New Avalon anymore and the leftover Crusader skulls become useless.

What a shame I didn't reach this thread beforehand... Because that potion rocks.

Im not surre if the leftovers are wasted, i got a dk in there, and plan to grind to lvl 60. But there are couldron's other places, like plaguelands, and deatholme in ghostlands.
Can anyone who still got some Crusader Skull's leftover try to see, if its posible to hand them in other places, and post result here(thanks)
Ps. its not posible to exit the starting zone, when i enter plaguelands, there are a invisible wall.

after you leave the Plauguelands and you go back to the Dk area and go down to Try's Hand and go to the cauldron there is a blue"?" or yellow at that even if you have extra (found that out the hard way) qq

To clarify: It is possible to return to the area where the cauldron is, by going to EPL and riding through Tyr's Hand. However, when you arrive at the cauldron, it no longer has the quest marks over it, and you cannot turn in more skulls.

I unfortunatly kept ahold of 76 of these until I was 64, I had no idea if they had any other uses. Inventory/bank space well wasted!

I noticed that the cauldron was gone when I picked up the dragon bombing quest. So I couldn't turn them in, when I completed the dragon quest the cauldron was back, but I still couldn't hand them in. I didn't realise that they were useless until I was level 63 though haha
Waste of bag space. Wish I'd known that I had to hand them in before taking up that quest.

I found a good place to farm these is the crowd of Citizens of New Avalon standing outside the town hall. There's about 14-15 to each side of the path. They're easy to kill, and the only trouble you'll ever have is the ones that run in fear and the ones that enrage.

So I guess that after a year, I can delete these? They were so cool to just have taking up space for no reason. I had them so long I thought they were permanently assigned to a bank slot and forgot about them.
