Got mine today, was the only BS in the group, nice addition to my recipe list, need to get the mats for it to make one for my tanking set ^^

It dropped on my 2nd run there, sadly we were 2 blacksmith and I lost roll. I had to wait till my 10-11 run to see it again... That plan is probably the best you can get for leveling and for selling. These helms are awesome for tank, nice armor (recently buffed), stam, def and 3 sockets.

they sell very well at the AH. On my server, I can sell these for a price higher than mats cost. You'll probably lose money (since mats are very expensive) to level blacksmith from 360-375, but if you can get that recipe, you will probably make some.

You can skill BS to 375 quite easily using this pattern, however the farming of fel iron and eternium has been nerfed since 2.1 since they removed the Fel Iron nodes from behind the dark portal :-(

Does anyone have an approximation of the droprate for Blacksmiths, since the listed droprate includes non BS party kills?

it only drops for blacksmiths and only blacksmiths can see it.

i gave up on blacksmithing a long time ago so at 150 blacksmithing it dropped for me alone being the only blacksmith

Drops on Normal. Got it on 2nd run.
Can skip 1st boss, but have to kill 2nd to open a door (attacking boss pulls all the worshipers in the room). Fanatics are in same room as 3rd boss.

I'm pretty sure i got it in shadow lab, but i'm not that sure from what mob did it droped, i doubt the plans themself can be farmed cause i'm sure the drop rate is way too low for that

They Drop in Shadow Labs but they only drop off Cabal Fanatics and only ppl who are Blacksmiths can even see the recipe, so other ppl cant need and sell em, they made the recipes BoP.

Just picked these up in shadow labs.. and I'd completely forgotten they dropped there. Only wanted my Kara attunement, ended up with these and some new tanking gear as well. Seems like you either get nothing or everything

So, if these plans ONLY drop for blacksmiths, do they drop for ALL blacksmiths or only for those blacksmiths who have at least 365 skill?

I have to wonder what the real drop rate is for qualifying blacksmiths, too. 0.9% is the drop rate for ALL kills, with or without a blacksmith in the party.

i presume the drop rate for all BoP recipes is calculated by dividing the number of drops by total kills.
Since these plans will only drop if a BS is in the party, the drop rate should be slightly higher because some groups will have had no BS in them.
I would guess at maybe 3 out of 4 groups have a BS.....

Ran shadow labs about 12 times now and no luck with the plans. Only had to run crypts like 10 or 11 times to get the gloves, and lets just say i'm not looking forward to how man times I will need to run arc XD

Too bad, I did SL, Arc and Auchenai countless times and have never seen any.
