When you begin this quest, it does a cinematic of the wedding. The wedding is interrupted by a big baddie. You must kill him BUT....stay in the big circle cast by the NPC Russel Brower ( the one who sings the song about the bride and groom)...this will help replenish your health and keep you alive, otherwise you will die quick. Hopefully others will be doing it to since you will all phase in together.

You may even get into the even already in progress and you will still get the quest completed when the bad guy dies.

Try as hard as you want to; you cannot get the dwarves killed. Frozen or not, the lowest their HP will go to is 1.

Did anyone else notice Beak just zooming around? I really laughed when I noticed him circling the monster and litteraly doing nothing :D

Did this and the boss disappeared the first time....left standing clueless and alone. If this happens to you, abandon the quest, re-take and press esc to skip cinematic. Got him the second time.

An awesome quest, really funny to do. But remember to turn the "thing" away from the Wildhammer dwarfs, since it take some time to get it down, and he doing some quite a lot of AoE damage. But really an epic weeding! =)

The best part of this quest IMO is that the mob's big ability is named "Wedding Crash" if you have cast bars turned on. =)

Anybody know where the quests go after this? Didn't see one when I completed this, does me being an ex-horde, doing quests midway in here have to do with anything? I was at the Twilight Citadel quests when I ex-fered to an ally.

Wow, have I ever screwed the pooch! The cinematic started, and I wanted my wife to see it. So I canceled the cinematic, but the wedding went on and the fighting began. So I abandoned the quest. Still the fighting went on. I finally jumped in and killed the beast. Then everyone at the wedding was very happy. I waited a long time, but nothing happened that allowed me to pick up the quest again or get a new one. (I literally have no quests now.) I logged out and back in to see if that would help. Nope. Well, it's about bedtime, so I hearthed to SWC to put some stuff in the AH. When I got there, the place was entirely deserted. Not an NPC or player anywhere in the Dwarven District--no vendors, no bankers, no auctioneers, no innkeeper, nothing. I got on my flying mount to see if the entire city was really empty. Mounting up apparently triggered something, because NPCs and players began appearing. I guess it's okay now.

But I really wanted to do the wedding quest. I'm hoping exiting the game will make a difference, but i doubt it. Anyone got any advice about getting the quest again?

This was (and is) one of my favorite Cata quests, mostly because of the surprise factor.. first time I watched the cinematic I was like, yep typical wedding, how sweet. Then he started yelling about blood and shadows and I was caught totally unawares.. like wow, what the crap is happening here!

Definitely a cinematic you'll enjoy replaying on your alts if you're an altoholic.

Fun factor: After you've done this quest, Grundy MacGraff continues to stand at his father's side, even if he's changed already and you killed him... :)

if u do this shapeshifted as a druid, u wont be shapeshifted in the cinematic.

accepted quest. cinamatic started. noticed i did not have sound... canceled cinematic and went to delete quest to re-obtain it... not able to do as im in a different phase now. how great :P

If you get stuck doing this quest and abandon it, and then proceed to get stuck in a phase, then use the Unstuck tool to kill yourself. It will remove the aura (Called , according to MSBT) which will then remove you from the phase.

I just completed this quest. My health got low and I ran out of combat. I abandoned the quest and restarted it about 10 minutes later. I noticed that "grundy's" HP was still down where I had pulled out of the quest, despite restarting it and rewatching the cinematic. With it halfway down already and me at full health, it was rather easy to hammer away at it.

When the Creature Attacks the Wedding ,,, look for the one Wildhammer Dwarf that is Playing a Tune on a Guitar or Ute ,,, he has a Glowing Shield around him ,,, GO STAND INSIDE the Shield to get your Health and Mana back up ...

If you are a caster just stand inside the Shield to attack the Monster,,, it Heals ya and Regenerates your Mana
