The mechanism is in the centre of the room, right next to where you receive the quest.

The turn-in was bugged for myself and a guildmate. When you are ported to the surface, Harrison is supposed to appear there with you, but he did not. We dropped the quest and did it over and were able to turn it in after that.

Stand by the guardrail directly behind Indy to activate the stone. The quest cut shot takes it from there and when it is done you end up outside.

I completed this quest on my Orc warrior, and Harrison Jones said to me, "For the Alliance." I was fairly insulted.
