So I dropped this quest, cause I couldn't find the Fiasco guy figuring that it was something wrong with the quest. And now I can't see the NPC that gives the quest.

In order to kill the Archeans (the big, brown Naga), you need to drop at least two bomb blast on them in quick succession.

The easiest place to do this is at about 7 o'clock on the rotation around the ruins. There will be a group of four Archeans standing together throwing things at you. Lay down your first blast as soon as you get into range, and then the second one as soon as possible afterwards.

you have to speak to Fiasco Sizzlegrin FIRST. he is the goblin right outside the door of the building you just got the quest from. you will see him as soon as you leave the building. you have to talk to him first and he puts you on an auto-pilot seahorse that rides you around while you bombs the npcs. just like all those old quests where they flew you around and you bombed certain npcs. when you have killed all of them it will automatically take you to the place where you turn the quest in. hope that helps!

There are several classes of bad guys. The soldiers go right down; you need 100, but they're easy.

The screamers are a sort of pink or maroon color. You need 20 and they are usually available in groups.

The tough ones, as Masatoki points out, are the Archeans. You need to hit them at least twice in quick succession, otherwise you will be flying around forever (don't ask me how I know this...).

The trick is NOT to use the point-and-click method -- it's just not fast enough. Rather use the mouse to aim and hit Cntrl-1 to fire. It's much quicker.

When you pick up this quest make sure after you leave the "building" that you wait to get the "Sea Legs" buff, the first time I did the quest i ran out of the building and immediately hopped on the seahorse without realizing I didn't have the buff, after mounting I never got the buff and ended up drowning half way through the quest

When reading through the quest text, I came to the point where he says "Anyone who gets caught in the open water isn't likely to out-swim a naga."

And I immediately followed it up in my mind with "Except a druid." Because Aquatic Form with the Sea Legs buff means you TOTALLY CAN. >:3

I tried many times (20 perhaps) to complete this quest, but never could take out the Azsh'ir Archaeans from the seahorse no matter what I tried. Worst was that I couldn't dismount, had to use Ctrl/Alt/Del to shut down the game and get me off the mount. Twice I couldn't even do that and had to shut down my PC to get off the mount. I really wish Blizzard would fix this.

Anyhow....... I did it another way. There are many rounded terraces extending out from the level on which these guys are located. And the Archaeans there are less well defended by others. If you swim carefully up to that level (not using the provided seahorse mount) you can go in and kill them one at a time hand to hand. Be aware that you won't see them until you're right on the terrace. My way of doing it was to go in, attack one and kill it, swim quickly away from the terrace until any attacks on me stopped, and then bandage or drink potions or eat or whatever I needed to bring my character up to full health.

It wasn't easy and a couple of times I came near dying, but it worked. Killing them that way counted to complete the quest and I was able to turn it in and proceed.

My issue was that everybody just disapeared on exiting the building.
I had to leave the zone and return before everything was where it was supposed to be.

As for the bombing run - Mouse and hotkey combo worked fine - just remebering to double tap the big ones as mentioned above - one circle through got everything covered.

ATTENTION ROGUES

I highly recommend NOT completing this quest, you can manually swim up to the platform these hundreds of mobs are on and pick pocket every single one, you can do a full circuit and never stop picking pockets here, it is amazing.

Kudos to the person who posted this information on the Flame-scarred junkbox page & have fun lock picking rogue friends.
