Classified as "Weekly Raid", I'm guessing these become available with the last wing of Icecrown Citadel.
See the bag's page for the other possible quests.
2 each with the same name, which points at different versions for 10 and 25 man, Securing the Ramparts even has 4 versions, apparently Horde/Alliance specific if you read the quest text.
Except Respite for a Tormented Soul, they seem to be given at Light's Hammer, the Ashen Verdict's beachhead at the raid entrance.

Residue Rendezvous - This is a Rotface & Festergut quest. You acquire the Orange Blight debuff when you are hit by Festergut's Gaseous Blight, and the Green Blight - when you take damage from Rotface's Slime Spray. The debuffs have 30 minutes duration and disappear when you die, or use immunity effects (e.g. Divine Shield or Ice Block), which means you need to kill both bosses within 30 minutes of each other - I suggest starting with Rotface. In addition to this, note that one person completing the quest (meaning one person survived both fights without dying and being resurrected, or using immunity effects) is enough to give everybody credit.

I personally did this in my raid tonight.

Couple notes:

1. You do get the infections from Festergut and Rotface. Although, it is a debuff and bubbling, iceblocking, or dying will remove it from you. It has a 30 minute duration.

The good news, however... is that if ONE PERSON survives both encounters everyone gets credit for it... at least in ten man. Not sure if this is intended, but that was the case for us this week.

The Festergut Orange debuff occurs when doing the fight normally.

The Rotface Green debuff occurs when being damaged by 1 tick of Slime Spray.

Talking to the NPC gives quest credit to the entire raid; only one person needs both debuffs. This talk also cleans both debuffs from anyone in the instance.

If you are unable to kill the bosses within 30 minutes of each other, you're out of luck.

Additionally, if you have people sitting as ready replacements (i.e. 30 people for a 25-man), you can give them quest credit as follows:

1) Have everyone pick up the quest, in shifts, BEFORE either boss is engaged. Quest cannot be acquired once the bosses are dead.
2) Kill the bosses and keep track of two people who each possess both debuffs.
3) Have one of the doubly-debuffed people zone out.
4) Turn in the quest
5) Substitute sitters into the raid, including the doubly-debuffed person who zoned out
6) Turn in the quest for the other half of the raid.

EDIT: After maintenance on 2/9/10, this strategy has been hotfixed. Zoning out or voluntarily logging out will remove the debuffs. Some people in my raid were, unreliably, able to induce disconnects from addons and keep the debuff.

My 10 man group was able to get it without downing either boss. A mage managed to survive a wipe on Festergut and kept the debuff, we then engaged Rotface and wiped while he managed to get the debuff and escape. So yeah downing either boss isn't necessary for finishing this quest.

Is it still possible to hearth while in a boss fight? If so, the easiest method I can think of would be to down Festergut, engage Rotface, have one person hearth after getting the debuff then have everyone come back in, talk to the NPC and get credit.

Resto shaman with 2 piece t10 would be your best shot.
Blow haste trinkets hit somone with riptide and bang 4.4seconds Anstercal Recall hearth.

Just confirmed that if you hearth with the debuff you will lose it. Guild killed Rotface, and due a mistake we died on trash and I was able to hearth with the debuff. Once I reached Dalaran the debuff was gone even though I had 26 minutes left.

There is a way to do this quest without killing either bosses. Have a lock in your raid and make him make a summoning circle right outside where the door closes. Engage boss get debuff and let him use his teleport this will reset the encounter and you can go do the same to the other boss. Only on thing that im not sure is if the lock needs to be the only one alive to reset it or he can do it when everyone are alive

We just completed this on ten man.

Downed Rotface first, everyone took a tick of slime spray just in case, so we all got that debuff. Then we headed over to Festergut - everyone got the debuff as soon as the gas cloud spawned. Finished him off, ran over and turned it in with 20 minutes to spare.

Don't bother trying to cheese this quest by Hearthing out with the debuff. My group tried this and all I was left with was a flight back to ICC.

I had a pug today that did this by using rogue + vanish method. We basicly did the encounters until the rogues got the debuff. Then rogues vanished. So hunter FD and rogue vanish should work also. :)

We did this tonight without killing the bosses first. We used the hunter FD method, but we also had people stand out in the halls. It is possible to get the debuffs for both fights out in the hall, as long as the people inside survive long enough. Somehow I managed to get the Festergut debuff even though I died.

This is INCREDIBLY easy to bug and get the reward without downing either boss. Infact, I would recommend it just incase bad stuff happens after downing one boss and having trouble with they other.

For Festergut, everyone but one tank and a healer stand outside, spread out along the hall leading up to his room. Once the first spore goes up, everyone stacks up by the grate blocking the entrance for his room. When they blow, you get the first blight strain. Then you have everyone outside the room run away, towards the entrance to the Plague Wing, to reset the boss.

Once you have that, go to Rotface's room. Same tactic. One tank and a healer goes in, stay up until the first slime spray, and everyone gets hit by it. When they do, everyone outside again turns around and runs back to the entrance to reset.

As long as at least ONE person has both debuffs, you can get credit for the quest. Just have everyone stand by the quest lady, wait until everyone is there, and then have the person with both talk to her. Everyone gets credit, insta win.

This will be obvious to most people, but do kill Precious and Stinky before doing either of the bosses - we failed this quest tonight after killing Rotface because someone triggered a trap (the one that summons a bunch of Fleshreapers) during the Stinky fight and we wiped.

Apparently the icecrown weekly raid quests count towards icecrown the final goal For those of you who still have one or two quests left and are able to get into a 10 or 25man raid this could be a good opportunity to get one quest closer to your goal.
